This is some text inside of a div block.
Deeply regret not reading these reviews before entering into an agreement with them. The car developed five serious faults in two weeks. I exercised my short-term right to reject but they completely ignored this. Attempting to delay the process by asking me for information they already hold or can access. I provided all of this in case first time around although I did not have to. They wrote to me a second time stating that I had failed to provide information for their ‘investigation.’ What investigation? It’s my legal right to reject a death trap with no working brakes. I am having to go through the financial ombudsman service, with a 3-tonne paperweight on my driveway, and it will now take months. I am without a car at the mercy of trains being cancelled. How is this company still operating?! Can our government please intervene here!

Unacceptable experience - treated like a criminal I am extremely disappointed with Santander. I was denied permission to take my car to my home country- even though it borders a Western European country. This has not been communicated with me for a week until I needed to call them to answer my prior written approval request. I was fully cooperative, providing the necessary details about our travel plans, including when we’d be back and where we’d staying during a close family visit. Despite this their staff spoke to me aggressively and treated me like I was beneath them as I own to them. The lack of empathy and flexibility was shocking. This experience left me with no choice but to settle my finance early- less than 6month in just to be free of their restrictive and hostile approach. I have lost the family member who we were intended to visit and this made it way more stressful for us and caused a significant money loss. I would not recommend Santander consumer to anyone who values respectful treatment and reasonable travel policies.

Currently trying to settle the remainder of my finance agreement after my car was written off. So far, in my first phone call, I've spent 1 hour and 52 minutes on hold, and I'm still waiting. Good start...
