This is an honest and genuine review, like many others I have had a similar experience with Yopa which was a terrible one. In short I would highly recommend using a different estate agent as I would not put Yopa in that category they simply are con men in disguise that once you have signed on the dotted line will not help you sell your house. Throughout my ordeal with this company I have been disappointed with next to no viewings and zero offers, lied too about my onward purchase as I was also purchasing through Yopa and this almost cost me my dream home. Once you have signed the contract and the cooling off period has passed you are side lined and completely forgotten about as they have already gotten their money from you and no longer care wether they sell your property or not. From the offset I was not happy with the service being provided, photos of my property were incredibly poor and there was no drive from the estate agent involved. I had to constantly push my agent who simply had no care. My property was on the market with Yopa for just over 6 months with 2 viewings in total. The lack of professionalism from this company throughout was absolutely shocking the fact they are still trading amazes me. There are so many more reason's of why I would not recommended anyone to use this company but my review is already lengthy. With hindsight I would 100% recommend using a traditional estate agent that are only paid only once the property has been sold, personally I used a company called EXP and dealt with an Agent called James Sheppard who was absolutely fantastic throughout the whole process who not only dealt with my side of things but went above and beyond to assist my purchasers to complete the sale of their house too at no extra cost. This was all achieved within two months and now thanks to him I live in my dream house.

Terrible communication! My husband and I put an offer on a house, we were waiting for a call back from the agent. We look on rightmove and its been sold! He never called us nor could we get hold of him. We were under the understanding that we were still negotiating, never once did he say our offers were rejected or explain anything. We would have offered more money if he had got back to us.

I attempted to purchase a house with Yopa in Brixton. I was dealing with a viewing agent - Ron, and his overseer/main agent - Jazz Etienne. Ron showed me the flat twice and was fine, occasionally didn't answer my texts, but generally was fine and showed up to the viewings on time, etc. However, dealing with Jazz was an awful experience. He ignored my calls/texts and left me in the dark when I was attempting to negotiate. He was incredibly rude/arrogant when I did get through to him. And one of the WORST things he did - he told me that the seller really need to sell their house asap at this price as the seller's father was sick. On the Yopa hub, you can liaise with the seller themselves, so I did this regularly to check the information etc, turns out the seller was actually wanting to purchase another house and the timing had nothing to do with his father (who I don't imagine is sick). It's disgusting to have to deal with agents who lie to get their way. Also, as a buyer they charge you for ID checks - nowhere else does this. My house purchase ended up falling through in the end. If you see a house you like and you see it's listed by Yopa, I'd strongly recommend you find something different, it's really not worth the hassle, stress and awful customer service Yopa provides. Feel bad for the seller's who don't realise and list their house with them, not fair at all.

Reviews Summary

The overall sentiment in recent reviews for Yopa estate agents is strongly negative, with most customers expressing dissatisfaction with both sales and purchasing experiences. Reviewers commonly describe persistent issues with communication, lack of professionalism, and feeling neglected after contracts are signed.
