The worst airline in North America. I will take any airline over Westjet. One thing they can confirm is that you will be disappointed every time. And have a sore butt cause their seats are like a metal bus stop bench. Ghetto!

I recently flew with WestJet on flight WS1698 from Vancouver to Los Angeles, and I felt compelled to share my amazing experience. From the moment we boarded, the entire crew was exceptionally kind and professional, unlike anything I’ve experienced before. One flight attendant, in particular, named Mona, truly stood out. The passenger next to me had a dog, and Mona went out of her way to personally explain what to do in case of an emergency. She calmly and compassionately instructed the passenger on how to handle the oxygen mask for the pet, saying, “You need to put the oxygen mask on your pet, just like you would for your baby.” The way she explained it was incredibly touching, and it really warmed my heart. Every member of the crew was generous, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure the comfort and safety of all passengers. Thank you, WestJet, for such a wonderful experience.

What happened with Westjet? It became the worst airline ever. Forced me to check my son’s Christmas gift at the gate, even when it fits. They charged extra fee for that as well. Staff were extremely rude. Never ever fly this airline. :(
