Dishonest, Unprofessional, and Manipulative – A Company to Avoid
⭐☆☆☆☆
Our experience with We Buy Any Home was appalling from start to finish. They initially made us a verbal offer which we accepted — but despite repeated requests, they flat-out refused to put anything in writing. That alone should have set off alarm bells, and in hindsight, we deeply regret continuing.
My wife was dealing with someone named Greg, who was rude, dismissive, and clearly uncomfortable dealing with a woman. His behaviour was nothing short of misogynistic and condescending — completely unacceptable in any professional context.
Then, just two weeks before completion, they slashed the offer by another £50,000, on top of their original offer which was already £50,000 under market value. That’s £100,000 less than the property was worth, presented at the last minute in an attempt to pressure us into accepting.
Let’s be clear: this company uses manipulative, predatory tactics. They string you along, refuse to put anything in writing, then change the terms when they think you’re too far along to back out.
They are not trustworthy. They are not professional. And in our experience, their behaviour was sexist, misleading, and unethical.
Do not trust them with your property or your time. We strongly advise others to avoid We Buy Any Home at all costs
