Reviews Summary

Overall sentiment toward Sold.co.uk, an estate agency based in the UK, is predominantly negative according to recent customer reviews. Multiple reviewers report consistent issues with communication, including difficulty reaching staff and slow or absent call-backs. Poorly handled viewings, lack of responsiveness, and a lack of transparency are common themes. While a small number of reviewers mention individual staff members who were honest or proactive, the majority of feedback highlights dissatisfaction, particularly around the sale process and use of solicitors.

A frequent pattern in the feedback is complaints about sales tactics, such as aggressively pressuring clients to use the agency’s chosen solicitors, undisclosed or unexpected fees, and a lack of clarity regarding policies. Several reviewers cite experiences that involve being misled about terms, inflexible or misleading processes, and allegations of dishonest or even fraudulent practices. Some positive outliers mention specific staff (like Marcus, Jade, and Ryan) who contributed to swifter transactions, but these are exceptions.

On balance, Sold.co.uk’s reputation among reviewers in the UK is mixed, trending negative. Trust signals are undermined by repeated references to poor communication, non-transparent fees, and aggressive sales practices. Only isolated instances reflect satisfactory outcomes or commendable staff, leaving an overall impression of inconsistency and risk for potential clients in the UK estate agency sector.

Truly the most incomptent estate agency in the UK. If you are considering selling through sold..co.uk, please avoid them. Having called them seven times in attempt to view a flat, they have no staff available to take calls, book viewings or do anything at all really. The receptionist says it's not possible to speak to anyone and couldn't suggest a time or date that it would be worth calling back. Because of the service they provide, the vendor has lost a sale. Please do not waste your money or time. Do not employ them. Go with a reputable agency instead. Date of experience: 16 June 2025

Terrible Experience – Dishonest and Rude Service I had an awful experience with this estate agency, specifically with Sarah James. I submitted all my paperwork to put in an offer on a house and followed up multiple times, only to be spoken to rudely and bluntly. Sarah Jane claimed she never received my documents, only to suddenly say, “Oh yeah, I got it” after giving me a hard time. It was completely unprofessional and confusing. After providing all my details, she outright told me I couldn’t have the property without any clear explanation. On top of that, she promised to call me back with updates but completely forgot and only remembered a few days later. Her behaviour was disgusting, dishonest, and completely unprofessional. Sarah James was incredibly rude and abrupt easily one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with an estate agent. Avoid this agency if you want to be treated with respect and honesty.

Poor and dishonest right from the start. Got pressured into using their solicitor as a term of the sale otherwise threatened to keep the property on the market. Their solicitor Sayer Moore & Co was just as bad as Sold, avoids all phone calls and takes a week to reply to emails. Demanded a deposit to get started with legal work which wasn't set out in the solicitor fees provided to me by Sold. 5 months on the solicitor doesn't know what is going on and "can't start any legal work" and refuses to refund the deposit. They listed the property when they didn't understand the position of the seller and kept going in circles for months, ultimately decided to walk away due to me losing faith in parties involved they have the competence to get this done.
