Before placing our order for two cherry laurels, I read the reviews online and, foolishly, thought, “Surely it can’t be that bad.” I now regret not trusting what others had experienced. We ordered two cherry laurels in March. I waited weeks for any delivery confirmation, and when I finally received a response, it was well beyond the lead time promised on the website. The first delivery was cancelled at the last minute due to a "lack of drivers". It was then rescheduled but never arrived. The delivery driver unexpectedly turned up the following day — luckily I was at home. Sadly, the state of the plants was appalling (please see attached photos). I contacted the company immediately, explaining that the plants were damaged, with yellowing leaves, barely any soil around the roots, and the roots themselves completely dried out. I received no response. Despite their poor condition, we planted the laurels rather than discard them, as there seemed to be no way to return them. Several weeks on, their condition has worsened considerably. I’ve followed up with another email and still had no reply. These are not our first laurels and I know how to plant them and how to look after them so we cannot be blamed for the poor outcome. I genuinely don’t understand how a business can operate while completely ignoring its customers. Please don’t be tempted by the lower prices — you’ll end up paying twice in the long run.

Order 153115 Jack, Simon, Bill, I am still waiting on 16 replacement laurels. Ordered in Feb, delivered two weeks later, arrived dry but gave them a good go, irrigation installed but one month on half died. For weeks Simon and Jack promised replacement trees. Lots of excuses, mainly waiting on supplier to deliver 10,000 plants etc. For over a month now no one answers the phones and still no replacement trees. This is my second order with Seagraves. First in 2022 was great, 2025 has been TERRIBLE. Please Jack, Simon, Bill check the emails, order 153115. I’ve requested for a refund or the trees. Last resort I will have to make a trip to Loughborough as this is not fair!!!

Ordering was straightforward. Really good price. Took a couple of weeks to arrive which was fine. Communication was by email. We received notice yesterday that our Silver Birch was coming today and it did. We ordered a 10/12 foot tree and got lucky - it's well over that. They seem to have their own drivers so it arrived in great condition and Michael was super helpful and informative. After I ordered I saw a few bad reviews but you can only go on your own experience which was great. Would use again no problem.
