I've purchased twice from this shop, first time I ordered a mixed box where I ended up with half a box of chilli-tuna meals which were tasty but not much of a mixture of meals. I fobbed this off as I actually like tuna so was happy to purchase a second order of a random box to try other products. Unfortunately a few items were past their BBE by over a year (03/2024, purchased 05/2025). Although it is not illegal to sell BBE past the date, it is never the less illegal under consumer law as they are legally required to inform you off all information including whether their products are a year past the best for the customers to decide whether they want the product. It's a shame as the rest of the box looked pretty good but I have now lost confidence in this company (hence two stars not one).

I would give less than 1 star if I could. I placed an order February 7th and paid extra for faster shipping because I needed the items fast. They did not arrive in time. I asked to cancel the order as they were needed for a specific reason. I was promised a refund. I was later told that the items were delivered on 7th march. Exactly 1 month after I purchased, but still, I have no items. I requested a photo from delivery to see if a neighbour has possibly collected it, although no neighbour has, as I have asked them. Moving on, they told me there is no photo just GPS. I received the tracking information from Preppers to be told the items were delivered 18th June. So that’s now a second date they have apparently arrived, but still no items. It gets worse… I live in Worcester, I ordered the items to my home address in Worcester. The tracking information states that it was delivered 18th June to South east London, quite a distance from Worcester. It is now September, almost few days away from 7 months waiting. The last response I received via email was 5th July. I have sent various emails since and still no response. The issue is, if they would’ve said, sorry we’ve messed up, I’d be okay, with them taking ownership of their mistake, I’d have accepted store credit rather than a refund, but 2 different supposed deliveries, atrocious customer service. I could go on but this is long enough, overall I would NOT recommend preppers. Absolute shambles of a business.
