Optical Express Laser Eye Surgery, Cataract Surgery and Opticians: Harley Street Reviews

I am leaving this review for anyone considering laser eye surgery and apprehensive about the process or unsure of which provider to choose. I am now 5 days post op and feeling great about my progress. My experience was amazing and thank everyone at the Harley Street branch for their service which was second to none. From my first consultation with Paula and team who were so patient with my never ending questions and provided me with all the information I needed to make an informed decision. To my actual surgery with Dr Ayoubi and team (Holly, Mike, Blessing to name a few) who went over and above to make sure I was reassured and comfortable throughout the whole process. Dr Ayoubi really exceeded my expectations in terms of his professionalism and caring approach throughout. I would highly recommend Dr Ayoubi at the Harley Street branch for anyone considering laser eye surgery.

I had LASIK surgery here yesterday and I can say it was a truly appalling experience. I had an appointment booked for 15:30 pm and didn't get seen till 19:00 pm. When I waited that long and got seen finally I was truly shocked by the nightmare which awaited me. First of all I only decided to have this surgery because I thought it would be pain free, however the pain that these incompetent trainees put me through was truly excruciating ( and I am a man with a very high pain tolerance). Firstly, the incompetent and horrible people who did my surgery didn't put enough numbing agent on, and the surgery throughout was a absolute horror show and I could tell that the person who was doing the surgery didn't know what he was doing as I overheard the conversation taking place saying "you've made a mistake, don't do it like that, do it like this" and they tore blood vessels from both my eyes due to their their idiocy and not knowing what they're doing. The numbing agent that was put on my right eye was so insufficient that it made it such a traumatic experience as I could feel everything that was happening and I never for the life of me knew it was going to be that sort of experience when I signed up. When I asked afterwards what happened they said that a blood vessel on your eye was torn and an idiotic male nurse was like "it's just like a love bite on your eye". I never for the life of me would have spent 3k if I knew that my surgery would be handled by such incompetent and uncompassionate people who either don't care or don't know what they are doing. I also believe that the person who was doing the surgery was in training as I can hear the main surgeon was giving him advice and that he's making constant mistakes and I for the life of me don't understand why I paid 3k for a nightmare that was carried out by such clueless and horrible people. Please avoid these incompetent psychopaths
