HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! GO TO COSTCO INSTEAD. Read the other reviews, not " one offs". Continual reports of inputting wrong phone numbers, manipulative about prices / insurance issues, and pick up dates etc .
I ordered june 10, pair for son and myself. Sons glasses ready in 1 hour, great. Mine were said to be ready in 2 weeks they would call me.3 weeks I call, no order on file can't, I'll find my order, phone number is only tied to my son's order not mine.
Finally, after over 20 minutes on the phone, they find my order. They tell me the phone number. They had, which was totally fictional, don't know where that number came from.Neither did they... I had to ask them to crack my phone number telling them that how would they be able to call me if they don't have my correct number
Called again a week later, still not read, same issue with phone number.I had to have them.Put in my correct phone number again
Called 1 or 2 times again, glass is still not ready. Called, again, today a month and a week later, july 16, and I asked for a refund, they put me through to the manager, robert.
I told him very briefly that i'm calling to request a refund on an order from june eleventh that still has not been received, i've received no phone calls etc..
He asked if he could explain and I said, I'm really not interested in explanation. I just want my refund at this point. I don't want the glasses.I'm not happy with the service that's been provided.
They also told me when I ordered that.I didn't have vision insurance and that the out of pocket price was like 320, they said something that they give me a discount for people that don't have insurance also something to the fact I might be able to send it into insurance for reimbursement later
While on the phone with Robert, he let me know that I might have trouble using my vision benefits again. If I request a refund, because it's already been billed to my insurance
Pause.... First thing in my head went insurance fraud?? I had no knowledge, they billed my insurance or what insurance, he said they billed my medicare, i explained my confusion over that and he said, no I got at least a five hundred dollar discount based on my insurance coverage
I simply stated that I was miscommunicated, that is not what I was told in any way, shape or form, i was told they offer a type of discount for people without insurance. So very shady in my opinion
The manager Robert did not interject an apology. Or reiterate back to me, what had happened to show that he understood the situation. Instead, all he asked is, "can I explain? Can you please let me explain you , you keep cutting me offAnd that's rude"
He called me rude,
At that point I said, I am calling him being very polite and to the point, and if you wanted to interject anything, it should have been an apology off the bat and then you made excuses about how he couldn't apologize, because I cut them off et cetera, anyway, horrible customer service
They couldn't even call me when my glasses were ready. Almost a month and a half later.. And they build my insurance, which they said they were not doing.
Tjey obvioysly work on volume, a bit of bait and switch, so perhaps 80% is not problematic, and that is their bread and butter... And customers who are treated unprofessionally, possibly unethically, not a problem.
Importance of due diligence peopke. so many cimpanies etc don't realize that their companies pay a lot of money to advertise to get good reputation, sales, etc but they fail to realize that just one unsatisfied customer can undo millions of paid advertising.
Buyer beware.
PS, people should be aware that places like this do not do a complete eye exam. My regular eye doctor he does all the tests for glaucoma, and other genetic or age related issues, and is an actual dr with many additional machines, and is an actual doctor that sits there and talks about your vision health, none of that happens here.
Note the staffer who help upon arrival was very efficient and friendly.
