If I could give 0/5 I would. We ordered a brand new over £500 oven which got deliverd last Thursday. My partner is a qualified electrician so he fitted the oven himself. The oven does not work so we told the ‘customer service’ team as soon as we knew, on the Thursday the oven got deliverd. A girl called Olivia from the customer service team emailed us back to say we needed to send a video but didn’t say how we should be doing this because as I work in admin I know you can’t send large video files via email. I told my partner to do it though we transfer so he did, Olivia got back to us after a day to say she couldn’t see this but didn’t give us an alternative to how we could send it but we tried again on wetransferr. After many attempts of asking how we send this and trying to send it, Olivia finally said on Tuesday that we could send this through WhatsApp!!!!!you could’ve saved many days of asking and going back and fourth. We sent the video eventually and had to go though it all again with someone new. They basically said we was lying even though the oven does not come on, does not heat up, the fan does not work and all the knobs are loose. The ‘advisor’ said they wasn’t a electrician and dosnt work in maintenance so he couldn’t say it was faulty and said we needed to talk to belling ourselves. My parner then said he is a qualified ele, he works in maintenance and he is saying it is fault as per the video we sent. The advisor then proceeded to say he didn’t tell us to go to belling ourselves so we forwarded on the message where he said that and they didn’t reply to it. Many other things happened and was said which were gobsmacked at. I’d like to know what you think of making people starve without any means of cooking food? People and families who don’t have enough money to eat out because their BRAND NEW OVEN got delivered faulty and does not work? It’s been nearly a week, it is now the Easter weekend and your shocking, outrageous customer service has gotten us nowhere and we’re only just now on the basic ‘can I have your serial number’ for the oven. It’s absolutely ridiculous. Am I going to be compensated this money back that I’m having to spend to actually eat out, even though I just got enough money together to buy a new over £500 oven? I’d like to know what you think of all the points above as I will be going to trading standards and this will be getting looked into. Furthermore, my partner is currently in the process of getting together a complaint to send to your ombudsman. It’s nearly been a week tomorrow and still no progress. DO NOT , I REPEAT DO NOT SHOP WITH MARKS ELECTRICAL!!!!!!!!!!!! I can’t really show in a photo as it’s the temperature and fan on all settings that does not work but here you go.

Ordering was easy online and choosing a delivery date to suit myself and they removed and recycled my own washing machine. Delivery men were friendly polite and i was kept informed by email of delivery. Was text a two hour delivery slot first thing in the morning. Great service

I recently purchased a Polti steam cleaner from Marks Electrical UK and was disappointed to find it in a less than satisfactory condition. The product arrived with water spillage, missing attachments, and a package that appeared to have been opened and resealed with just two staples. This is far from the standard I expect when purchasing a new item. I have reached out for a return, yet your team insists this is the original package. I find this hard to believe as my previous purchase of the same brand from Amazon was well-packaged. The presence of water inside and missing components only adds to my suspicion that this product may not be new. Please review the attached photos and consider whether this meets your usual quality standards.
