Reviews Summary

Customer sentiment toward Love2shop gift cards and vouchers appears mixed, with a significant number of critical reviews citing issues with usability, restrictions, and customer service. While some reviewers appreciate the saving scheme and helpfulness when calling support, many express frustration due to technical obstacles, restrictive redemption options, and difficulties with unused or expired balances. Criticisms also include problems using cards at advertised retailers and perceived unresponsiveness from the company’s support team.

Recurring themes include appreciation for the budgeting and savings aspects, especially for Christmas (noted by multiple long-term customers). However, complaints outnumber positive remarks in this set, centering on expiry restrictions, fine print, complicated redemption processes, and the inability to use cards at certain stores or online as expected. Several reviews mention financial losses due to expiry or limitations, highlighting a disconnect between customer expectations and product functionality.

Overall, Love2shop’s reputation as a corporate gift and savings voucher provider is challenged by frequent mentions of restriction, confusion, and unresolved issues, despite long-standing loyal customers who find the scheme useful for budgeting. The lack of country or region-specific praise suggests a broadly applied service. Potential customers should carefully review terms to avoid surprises.

Just went to redeem some vouchers and was going to buy an Asda card with them (which is listed as one of the available retailers on their site) only to be told they’re out of stock?! It’s a digital voucher, how can a digital voucher be out of stock?! I think this is very misleading/false advertising as it looks like you can get vouchers/use them at all of the retailers listed on their website (which you’d think you’d be able to do at all times) but it turns out you can’t as it looks as though retailers may cap the amount/value of vouchers that can be redeemed with them so be warned! Especially if you’re buying them as a present thinking the receiver has loads of choice and can use them at all of the listed retailers/restaurants as they may not be able to. I hate love to shop vouchers, I find them so restrictive and difficult to use, unfortunately we’ve got £200 worth of them so thought at least I can use them to buy our groceries and now can’t even do that!

I love Love2shop cards. Knowing I have Christmas 2025 sorted is a great feeling. Being able to save for Christmas this way is, for me, the best way to save. If I put money away I always use it before Christmas so buying Love2shop vouchers is best for me. I can cover Christmas and have some credit left to cover me for the begining of a New Year. If I have to phone them they are brilliant, very helpful and professional, nothing is too much trouble. I'm glad I have the option to buy my Love2shop Vouchers. I'm a very happy customer, thank you.
