Reviews Summary

Customer reviews of King's College London convey mixed sentiment towards the institution's reputation and student experience. Recurring themes in the feedback indicate a decline in administrative efficiency and dissatisfaction with internal processes, particularly regarding the handling of academic misconduct, student finance, and visa paperwork. Complaints of indifferent staff, unfair grading, and inadequate response to student welfare needs are juxtaposed against positive testimonials about supportive lectures and notable alumni. Strikes by faculty appear to be a consistent disruption, negatively affecting the availability of lectures and contributing to an overall sentiment of an institution that prioritizes revenue over student well-being.

I studied at King's College London for five years. When I was a master's student, my dissertation was wrongly accused of academic misconduct for no reason. I have no fault whatsoever. But the score for the dissertation was inexplicably downgraded. The master's experience was really bad and disgusting. Endless strikes, unfair grading, indifferent staff. As a result of attending this university, I suffered a lot psychologically. KCL was not like this 5 years ago. Not recommended now. It hurts to see my alma mater deteriorate. But it must be scored low. I would give it the lowest rating on the graduate questionnaire survey. Just like you can't do justice to my dissertation.

I had some of the best lectures. Always felt encouraged and supported. The library was great. The ambiance at the institution felt right. It was a great experience and I met some really nice people. I would study here again. There could be more in the repertoire of post-graduate courses but it’s a brilliant institution with excellent links nonetheless.

Never would I have thought that an institution (which somehow claims to be renowned) lies to its students, steals their money and wastes their time. Absolutely no care for students. They cut off all my student finance in the middle of the semester and refused to give me my bursary, and almost left me to starve and unable to pay rent, and still wouldn’t help me, and kept threatening me with legal action to pay my rent. Feels more like a scam than what they advertise as a ‘student experience’. Lectures are cheaply made PowerPoints that can be found on Google. Half the time there aren’t even lectures anyway because of strikes, as this ultra wealthy university refuses to pay its staff a decent wage. Not to mention the wokeness - white staff here aren’t even allowed to take part in tai chi classes. Save your time and money and go elsewhere.
