I had a very disappointing experience studying with Arden University. There was a serious lack of support, the tech often failed, and the overall organisation was poor. The student platform was difficult to navigate, and it felt like everything was rushed and thrown together without much thought. The course content itself was vague and not particularly useful in preparing for real-world application. There was very little guidance or structure, and I often felt completely left to figure things out on my own. I didn't realise how bad it was in terms of quality and structure until I went to a different university. For comparison, I went on to study the same subject with the University of London and the experience was completely different — structured, supportive, and professionally delivered. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend Arden University. I genuinely hope they improve, because every student deserves proper support, clear guidance, and a reliable learning experience which unfortunately I did not get. I have tried to reach out to the university for a full refund since I did not complete the course due to dis-satisfaction but am yet to receive this, despite 6 years of trying. The OIA reviewed the case but since it is a private university as long as they offered the course, it is difficult to dispute quality. I do not recommend it at all. I would avoid it at all costs since there seems to be no adequate protection or fail-safe for consumers, in my case, a vulnerable university student. One can only assume it's still terrible, if they had genuinely improved in these years they would have quickly refunded me and accepted a resolution.
