Reviews Summary

The overall sentiment for Oxbridge’s online education services is predominantly negative, with most reviewers expressing disappointment regarding tutor support, grading transparency, and communication. There are isolated mentions of helpful staff and good course material, particularly in personal circumstances, but these are outweighed by recurring concerns such as unresponsive administration, unclear feedback, and outdated or insufficient instructional content.

Common themes across the reviews include frustration with tutor availability, long response times, and a lack of personalized academic support. Several reviewers pointed out issues with delayed grading or certificates, difficulty withdrawing from courses, and repeated marketing calls even when uninterested. Specific grievances also highlight problems such as unclear grading rubrics, unresolved complaints, inadequate exam coordination, and course materials not being updated or comprehensive.

Based on customer feedback, Oxbridge’s reputation within the online education sector is mixed at best, with some students having positive experiences but many experiencing procedural and communication shortcomings. Although a few reviews note helpful tutors, most users report challenges with support, responsiveness, and process transparency.

I purchased a course over a year ago and passed the first assignment easily but for some reason was given a different tutor who marked me very unfairly and made no sense at all on the 2nd assignment. I was told I had “plucked information out of thin air’ when she had clearly failed to read the text herself as it was right there. After trying to submit my assignment twice and failed both times I requested help for this to be looked into and it was never investigated. I just lost interest and I felt the way my work was graded was oddly blunt and negative. They are so keen to take your money but no support whatsoever. The course structure is very odd (criminology for reference) I would never ever recommend anyone to purchase these courses-sorry!

My niece enrolled for 3 A levels at Oxbridge and has found the material good. The tutors have been very helpful in their comments and we're very quick to mark the assignments. Daryl, has been very helpful in helping with the UCAS application and it was reassuring to know you were getting expert help. The admin is however a little slow, hence the 4 star.

Currently studying on the travel and tourism diploma. I suffer from migraines and was told by my doctor to withdraw from the course. As I was a few days out of the cancellation period they wouldn’t allow me to drop the course, even though someone said that if I got a letter from the Doctorow it would help. I emails the finance company who you pay the course though to see if they could do anything and got told that Oxbridge hand settled my complaint and they did it do anything. The amount of things that needs to be recorded for interviews and role plays is ridiculous!! This should have been mentioned when paying for the course. There are several assignment that states you need to email your tutor so that you can get example of certain things and it does take several days for them to get back. When emailing don’t expect to get through to the same person also. If anyone is think of doing it you should make sure you have someone who is willing to be recorded for assignment also. The grading system is also shambles!! You are given an assignment sheets and when you do what they want on the sheets they turn round and see you need more. It doesn’t give you much detail as to do for different grade. I did actually get hold of the course hand book and the amount of stuff that states I should be provided with is ridiculous. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!
