Reviews Summary

Overall, customer sentiment toward Guardian Debt Relief is predominantly negative, with most reviewers expressing disappointment and concern about the company’s service delivery. Reviewers consistently note issues such as poor responsiveness, unexpected or unclear fees, and ineffective communication, especially after clients have enrolled. There are recurring criticisms about management’s tone and the escalation of customer debt, balanced by rare praise for knowledgeable or friendly staff in isolated cases.

Common feedback includes reported delays in payment processing, a lack of transparency around contract terms, and experiences of miscommunication or misinformation regarding the company’s debt relief services. Many reviewers highlight feeling burdened by extended timelines and additional fees, with some referencing unprofessional interactions with specific staff members. Only a few reviews mention positive aspects, such as informative agents or effective negotiation, but these are exceptions rather than the rule.

Based on the available reviews, Guardian Debt Relief’s reputation is challenged by consistent trust and service issues, limiting its reliability in delivering debt relief solutions. While some individual employees are occasionally recognized for being helpful, the overall pattern in the feedback indicates prevalent dissatisfaction, with only scattered positive outcomes noted by clients.

They do not respond to all accounts in a timely manner, I called a couple of times to provide fax numbers etc because companies were harassing me. They said they received nothing from Guardian. It took a few months for my payment to show up on the statement and there are hidden fees. Case worker doesn't talk to you after you join, only the non legal person answering the phone. They are not very swift in resolving your accounts.

Guardian litigation group claimed to be a debt consolidation group and would come to a resolution with one of my existing accounts for a personal loan. They did not attempt to resolve the original loan and advised me to block all calls from the original loan company and to put a stop on the automatic payments from my bank. After more than 30 days the original loan company was calling and texting 3-4 times per day then reported more than 30 days lack of payment to the credit report which tarnished my score by more than 40 points just as I applied for a home loan. They are a scam in and half and never sent any documentation or anything in writing alerting me of any of this. When you call, they say they need to schedule a call back because no managers are available.

Let me start by saying; DO NOT use a debt settlement company. Settle the debts yourself so that you don’t end up paying thousands in fees to a settlement company. If for some reason you do use a settlement company, don’t use Guardian Debt Relief. I have been paying this company for more than twice as long as the original agreement. It does state in the contract that this may happen, take that seriously. They will drag it out as long as possible. All of that is to be expected, however, the customer service I have experience over the last few months isn’t acceptable at all. The only person who answers the phone is Dwight. He consistently speaks to me in a condescending manner that I have never experienced before. I was told that the company has already made their money off me, so I can do whatever I want when I called with concern about how my accounts are being handled. I would not recommend this company at all for that reason alone. No one deserves to be spoken to in the manner that I have experienced from this company.
