Our experience with Green Motion in Florida was an absolute nightmare, deserving less than zero stars. We reserved two rental cars two months in advance for our family trip, but our flight was delayed three times, pushing our arrival to 3 a.m. instead of 1 a.m. We called ahead to inform them, and the staff assured us, “We’re open 24 hours, I’ll make a note of your delay.” Despite confirming our delayed arrival with Green Motion staff, who assured us their 24-hour service would accommodate us, we were left stranded at 3 a.m. with no staff available, forcing our exhausted family to scramble for alternatives. After waiting 30 minutes for a shuttle, we arrived at their location only to find it closed, with just valet workers present who informed us they couldn’t help until morning. This was unacceptable, especially with our entire family waiting in the early hours. We didn’t reach our Airbnb until 5 a.m., utterly exhausted. We will never use Green Motion again and strongly caution others against their unreliable service.

Very unimpressed. When picking up the car it was nice because they shuttle you to the lot from the airport. You get there and you’re herded like cattle to hurry along and get in line. We already had paid online for the reservation in full and didn’t expect to pay anything except a security deposit ( turns out the security deposit is 500!) after waiting there are choices for insuring your car through them per day from 30-50 a day or use your own but stil have to pay to use your own? Then there’s the toll package they scare you into saying Florida has the most tolls and if you go through one there’s a major fee unless you have the package for 13.99 a day. Then they say ok go find your car and it’s a completely different car than we booked. We get there and they don’t have the car seat in there we booked we asked and they ran it out and sat it by us and left. We put it in and it has gum stuck to the bottom of the straps and it wouldn’t stay locked so my son kept tipping every day Atleast once, so very unsafe. The car itself it a nice looking car but very overall dusty and unclean. The floors Nicely vacuumed but other than that the cup holders were nasty, the windows you couldn’t see though and there’s sand in the hatchback. Is my car at home perfectly clean? No but I made sure to take pictures and email them so they wouldn’t say we made it so nasty. They were very dry on the email and said sorry yes it was cleaned. I asked for a partial refund as part of what we pay for is the detail and that obviously wasn’t done. They said well since it’s already paid for we can’t refund any of it which is so untrue but whatever. A few days in I was in the back seat with my son and the sensor for the seatbelt also had an issue and kept screaming at us that it wasn’t buckled even tho it was. Terrible service and have more pictures of the car with some dings and scuffs time and dated prior to leaving and I fully expect them to try and say we did them too.

Absolutely terrible experience with Green Motion. Shuttle from MCO didn't come for nearly an hour, then was full so had to wait another 10 minutes. Arrived at offsite location: NOBODY working. Another customer had been waiting since 6am with nobody to help her. The person who was supposed to be on shift didn't get there til 7:20am. We didn't get our vehicle until nearly 2 hours after we rented it for. Plus, the place was filthy: nasty stains on couch and trash not taken out. Tried to charge us double what I had rented it for. Then, next day charged us $150 extra for being "late" (I understand charging us an extra day, but I paid $63 for 24 hours, so $150 for an extra hour is...not cool). Also, van was dirty and had trash left behind. Will NEVER use Green Motion again. Would rather work with Hertz or Enterprise and pay more up front. Learned my lesson. The consumer world would be better without GreenMotion in it. Please do better: good experience renting vehicles should be the standard, not the exception. Lastly: didn't go over my rental agreement, didn't check off any scratches on the car, didn't give good information about tolls in Orlando, didn't smile or act nice. If you are considering renting from this company, do yourself a favor and reconsider. Renting a vehicle in a new place for vacation is already stressful if you don't do it often, and this company makes it extra stressful. Again: Do better, Green Motion, or you won't be around in the future.
