I would not recommend putting GoodBuyGear items on your registry due to their unfortunate lack of quality customer service. I received a gift outside of their return window (a mere 14 days) and they had sent me a mini crib mattress rather than a standard size. We checked the order confirmation, cross checked the cost paid with their current inventory, and the representative even acknowledged that the wrong mattress was sent. We did not realize it was the wrong size until we put our crib together this weekend and were so disappointed. However, the only assistance we received with this issue that was ENTIRELY their fault was a shallow apology and an annoying reiteration of their return/claim window policy. When inquiring about escalating the issue and/or speaking to someone on the phone, the representative completely dodged the question (not very well either). Essentially we now have to figure out what to do with a mini crib mattress, repurchase an appropriate sized mattress, and never order or recommend from this company again. For a company with a mission to reduce waste and encourage purchasing secondhand items in the baby and kid space, here is exactly what I was trying to avoid. What a lovely experience for a very pregnant woman!

Got a halo bassinet described as “open box” the package came pretty much destroyed and I could see the bassinet through it. When opened it was obviously used and not an “open box”. Dirty and had stains in between the seams. Incredibly disappointed and would like to be reached out to as soon as possible as I felt I was deceived by the description. Update: customer service worked with me for a full refund quickly and professionally.

I ordered a bassinet from Goodbuy Gear and it arrived today with the box destroyed and no additional inside packaging. There were literally parts sticking out and you could see that the item inside was dirty from the broken box. I had seen other reviews about packaging woes, and hoped things had gotten better, but that’s obviously not the case. It’s a great concept, but I won’t be buying from Goodbuy Gear again.
