This is some text inside of a div block.
Recently purchased a heated towel rail. Arrived promptly but had several scratches. Contacted the company who offered a £15 refund to keep. I accepted. After 3/4 weeks the refund did not appear. Contacted customer services and after a bit of to and fro they agreed to process. It took a further email advising I was now going to approach my credit card company to dispute. Low and behold the refund appeared in a couple days.

A honeytrap company that preys on the elderly with voucher and subscription scams known for its Easylife catalogue 'stealth sign-up'. If it happens, keep an eye on all transactions and you can tell your bank or credit card provider to stop future payments to Easylife and ask it to refund payments already made under the Payment Service Regulations 2017, then Data Protection Act 2018 (GDPR) and finally make a subject access request (SAR).

This company has fleeced my 97 year old mother of hundreds of pounds. My mother has dementia and doesn't have the capacity to agree to anything and yet they signed her up to a subscription and then began helping themselves to her money. I note from other reviews that this isn't an isolated incident and I also note that Easylife haven't responded to any of the shamefull reports highlighted in the reviews. I truly hope this honest review saves somebody else from dealing with this despicable company.

Reviews Summary

Overall sentiment toward Easylife reflects significant customer dissatisfaction, particularly regarding their subscription practices and impact on elderly customers. Reviewers frequently report unauthorized charges, difficulty obtaining refunds, and recurring payment issues. Legitimate concerns about how the company processes orders and communicates about subscriptions dominate the feedback, with only a single mention of product quality and a few delivery issues. Criticisms about unclear sign-up methods, unhelpful communication, and stress for affected families are persistent themes.

The most frequent themes emerging from these reviews are negative—primarily relating to repeated unauthorized transactions and subscription models that are not clearly explained to users, particularly seniors. There is also a pattern of delayed or challenging refund processes, often requiring escalation to financial institutions. Issues with delivery partners and customer service handling of complaints are noted but less prevalent than concerns about transparency and billing.

Based on the provided reviewer feedback, Easylife's reputation, especially regarding their catalogue and subscription services, is regarded as problematic in the UK. Trust appears compromised due to reports of deceptive subscriptions and financial exploitation of elderly customers. The prevailing sentiment in these reviews suggests that potential buyers in the UK should exercise considerable caution engaging with Easylife.
