easyJet PLC's customer reviews analysis

The assessment of easyJet PLC's company reputation based on the latest customer reviews suggests that there are significant challenges in the customer experience that are adversely affecting the company's image. Repeated stories of staff rudeness and lack of assistance seem to be a recurring theme. Multiple accounts describe instances where perceived staff incompetence or miscommunication led to missed flights or incorrect directions. Additionally, there are grievances about extra fees perceived as unfair, such as charges for slightly oversized bags or for services like DOHOP, which customers feel should be included. There are also testimonies of systemic issues, with reports of lost baggage and inefficient customer service when trying to address complaints or seek refunds, further tarnishing the company's reputation. The sentiment in the feedback is one of frustration, with several customers vowing to cease using easyJet's services altogether.

Positive Feedback

While the recent reviews for easyJet PLC are predominantly negative, some feedback points to positive aspects. Customers acknowledge the low costs of flights as a worthwhile consideration, suggesting that the value proposition of being a budget airline still holds true for some travelers. Additionally, despite the negative circumstances, some customers find the resolution of booking another flight, albeit at an additional cost, allowed them to continue with their travel plans. This indicates that while there are operational mishaps, some degree of problem-solving is available.

Concerns and Threads

The negative feedback for easyJet PLC revolves around poor customer service, additional unexpected fees, and operational inefficiencies. Customers consistently report unprofessional behavior from staff, misinformation, and a lack of empathy or assistance in resolving issues. The imposition of extra fees for baggage, even when slight deviations from the norm occur, has led to customer dissatisfaction and suspicion of being exploited. Operational woes including lost baggage, delayed or canceled flights, and miscommunication are further points of frustration. There is also a notable sense of mistrust expressed towards the company's commitment to customers, given the reported difficulty in obtaining refunds or proper communication from customer service representatives.

Horrible experience with EASYJET HOLIDAYS. They nearly destroyed our summer holidays. In Gatwick airport, the gate closed before it was shown in the air port screen because it was a shuttle gate. The EASYJET staff in the gate was rude with us, the EASYJET staff in the information center mistake on gate number and said it was my faulty if I missed the flight, and no refund was expected, in a rude manner. I called easyjet Holiday Support team at +443301235025, and I had to book another flight ticket for GBP220.00 to still enjoy my holiday package. Definitely, it was not my mistake once I followed the instructions in the airport screen, and it is the only communication passagers has about his flight instructions. No refund or apologise given at all. Ever never buy a HOLIDAYS PACKAGE from EASYJET again. The customer service in Gatwick Airport is rude and not helpful at all. F****** nightmare

Got charged £48 extra because the wheels of my bag were too big! I'm wheelie annoyed! The staff member had the card machine ready to scam me while rubbing his hands together. Should be called SleazyJet! Cheap flight though . . . . well, it was! Edit: And would you believe it, a piece fell off the wing! Maybe they'll put the £48 towards getting it repaired someday 🤞🏽#GladToBeAlive

Very sad company. They let you pay 25 euro's for the so called DOHOP service. It means that they take care of your luggage. You even have to pay when you only have carry-on luggage. Yes a lot of service with Easy 'earning money' Jet. Thank God there are other, and much better, operators.
