I have been a customer at Cynergy Bank since 2018 (before they became Cynergy, actually!) and have always been very pleased with the service received. Usually I have no problem accessing and operating my accounts online, everything is quick and easy, but on the odd occasion when I have needed some help the phone is answered quickly and my problem is soon resolved. The advisors are polite, knowledgeable and helpful. The interest rates are good too! Have confidently recommended Cynergy to friends and relations.

WARNING: AVOID CYNERGY BANK FOR ISA TRANSFERS (and potentially all services!) I am writing this review to vehemently warn anyone considering Cynergy Bank for an ISA transfer – or potentially any banking service. My experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. I initiated an ISA transfer from two accounts to a new provider on April 4, 2025. As of today, May 9, 2025, over a month later, my transfer is STILL PENDING. My new provider has repeatedly stated they are awaiting a response from Cynergy Bank. My attempts to get information have been met with a wall of silence and incompetence. Online messages are met with automated replies that promise action within five working days, only to be completely ignored. Follow-up messages receive the same useless auto-response. Calling their customer service is an exercise in futility. Expect to waste nearly an hour on hold, only to be subjected to a bizarre and illogical verification process. I was told one of my answers was "wrong" without any clarification, and then instructed to call back for another round of random questions. This feels less like security and more like a deliberate tactic to frustrate and deter customers. The complete lack of communication and the consistently unhelpful and obstructive behavior across all their customer service channels paint a clear picture: Cynergy Bank appears to have no regard for their customers or the timely processing of their requests. Based on my utterly unacceptable experience of a month-long delay and consistently unhelpful "customer service," I strongly advise anyone considering Cynergy Bank for any service to look elsewhere. They seem intent on holding onto your money and making the process as difficult as possible. This has been the most unprofessional and frustrating banking experience I have ever encountered in the UK.

Don't waste your time. I applied for a Business Savings Account and after more than 2 weeks it is still showing pending, i raised a complaint 1 week ago and yesterday to get a reply. Called today and asked agent to cancel my account request as nothing had changed.
