I heard about this company first from a YouTube contest creator, on his channel, Universal Mastery, (sorry, Jeremiah, I forgot to use your link so you'd get credit)
I checked out their website first, and saw that they specialized in pasture raised animals and the use of Non GMO feed was a feature I most loved. They had a nice variety of meats, lots of specials and member deals..etc. so, I contacted them on around, Feb 3rd, where I communicated with Hailey ,customer sales team. She was very helpful with any concerns I had and was hesitant about. She stayed involved with me until I finally was successful in placing my order. First couple of times failed due to some unexpected technical issues. So, once placing my subscription for the custom box, where you pick all your own favorite items, which you can change up whenever you want. Got my confirmation email shortly after. It gives you a window of your estimated arrival. Mine was ordered on the 3rd of February..the estimated delivery date was between the 5th and 8th same month. So happily I waited only to not get any further training or update. So I emailed Hailey again, she apologized, but said that the order hadn't been delivered yet but was packed. I also received an email showing the tracking status where the order was still in the "boxing" status on the 6th.
Here's where things soured a bit for me.
On the 8th, I reached out again, because according to them, I was estimated to be receiving my box no later than the 8th.
Hailey email me back with a order run down and normal schedule time. I replied politely, thanks for the update, and was glad this isn't your typical way of doing things.
On the 10th, Hailey emailed me back with this...
"I'm so sorry for the inconvenience caused.
I've confirmed with our fulfillment center that your order has been processed for shipping and you should receive your tracking shortly. When your box ships, you’ll receive an email notification from support, with tracking information, letting you know your order is on the way."
So by now, I was beginning to think about this, I already had to make do, by substituting store bought meat, while the wait for my delivery, and it looked like Hailey didn't really have a answer.
I thought that I'd better cancel this and get my money back..but when I went to the website..couldn't find anywhere where this action is done. So, I called the support number, which, BTW, is always a good sign that a company offers live agents to help you..I reached agent named James, ultra professional and very knowledgeable...kind too. He heard the whole spiel on what happened. I actually was calling to find out how to cancel!
He said that once your order was already packed or "boxed"..you could cancel the future order, but for this one, you can not get a refund. I certainly didn't like that, because my order was in the packed status
..too long.
James looked up my order, and told me that my order had indeed been ready for pickup, but for some reason their shipping courier was having a problem, hence the unordinary delay. Hailey should have relayed this to me. But he said after a short hold, I'm being shipped promptly out that evening
He also compensated me for the problems. I accepted humbly, due to his diligence and genuine concern for my "new customer experience". He explained that they can deliver once shipped in 3 days, because they have several local warehouses throughout the cities, which is also great to know.
So, I received my package the next day..and everything was perfectly packed, frozen. Lots of meat, quality meat for the price 👌
