Amarone's customer reviews analysis

Evaluating the array of reviews for Amarone, the company appears to maintain a strong reputation as a high-quality restaurant, particularly noted for its delicious food and commendable service. The recurring commendations focus on the variety and taste of dishes, such as the lasagna, calzone, tiramisu, and pizza, which signify that the culinary aspect of Amarone is a prominent trait in customer satisfaction. The atmosphere is consistently described as lively and conducive to dining, with customers appreciating the venue’s decor and ambiance. Service is generally labeled as attentive, polite, and efficient, despite occasional references to staff being overwhelmed during peak hours. A minor but noteworthy critique is the strategic placement of seats and the management of reservations; some customers felt inconvenienced by their seating arrangements. Furthermore, while the food receives high marks, there are mixed reactions regarding specific dishes, implying a variance in culinary execution.

Positive Feedback

Among the positive aspects derived from recent customer feedback, the food at Amarone is frequently lauded for its presentation and taste, with many dishes singled out for specific praise such as the lasagna, calzone, tiramisu, and various pizzas. The venue's atmosphere is consistently appreciated for its enchantment and appropriateness for celebrations like birthdays. Service is largely reported to be good, with staff being described as attentive, polite, and efficient. Concerns and Threads

Despite overwhelmingly positive impressions, some areas of improvement emerge from customer criticisms. One recurring negative concern is with seating arrangements, where customers expressed disappointment at being seated near restrooms despite requesting window seats and perceiving other available options. The inclusion of a service charge without discretion has also displeased customers, who prefer to reward service based on merit rather than obligation. Specific culinary offerings did not meet expectations for some, with critiques targeting the lack of natural flavor in the lemon tart and insufficient quantity of key ingredients such as 'Nduja on a pizza. Another recurring theme is the limited number of vegetarian and vegan options, as well as the request for more diverse dessert offerings for those with dietary restrictions. Lastly, the reviews hint at staff being stretched thin during busy periods, which could potentially impact the quality of service.

Food: absolutely gorgeous. The presentation, the taste, simply wonderful. Probably one of the best restaurant in terms of quality and taste of food. The lemon prawns (can’t remember what it was in italian, sorry) MUST TRY. Service: Good. Polite servers and happy with the service :) Atmosphere: we were tourists in Edinburgh and also happen to visit place for my birthday. And I requested nice window seats but was seated right next to ladies bathrooms Did see loads of other empty seats but ok. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Went on a busy Friday night. I Had the Chilli squid starter, Veal with Salad and finally the Lemon tart. Squid was very nice and had a nice warmth to it but not hot. The veal again was nice but had I thought about it probably not one to follow the battered squid, I was all battered out by the end. Finally had the Lemon pudding, I didn't enjoy this at all. It tasted much more like a chemical flavour than natural Lemon. The bill came and Service charge was already included. This annoys me! I always tip, however, The expectation and presumption that I should pay over and above the bill by the restaurant owner I find very conceited. Atmosphere was great and the venue is one that you want to return to. We had a bottle of red with our meal and a couple of beers. All in all it was about £160 for 3 of us.
