Ada, the Turkish restaurant in Edinburgh, truly lives up to its award-winning reputation. From the moment we stepped in, the experience was exceptional. The chicken dishes were a highlight – moist, flavorful, and expertly prepared. The hummus surpassed expectations, clearly homemade and not a generic store-bought version.
The bread deserves a special mention; served warm, it was irresistibly good, prompting us to order more. The lamb ribs were a culinary delight – really meaty and bursting with flavor, adding a memorable touch to our dining experience. The portion sizes were generous, providing excellent value for money. For a satisfying meal, you can expect to spend around £20-£25 per person. Even if you're not a big eater, sharing a plate is a viable option.
The attentive staff added to the positive atmosphere, and a delightful surprise came from the chef – a complimentary serving of freshly made tabbouleh, which was a nice touch.
In summary, Ada offers a delightful culinary journey with top-notch Turkish cuisine. The combination of quality food, ample portions, attentive service, and the unexpected treat from the chef makes it a must-visit in Edinburgh. The overall experience easily justifies its accolades, and we left thoroughly satisfied.
