I recently photographed an amazing wedding at this truly unique and beautiful venue. Everything about it is awesome. The atmosphere, the location and the friendly staff make it one of my favourite wedding venues in Edinburgh. Highly recommended if you're considering getting married here.
Not only is the view of roundhay park and this glorious old manor house simply breathtaking, but the food and service were superb. The loaded nachos and the potato and leek soup were by far the best of either that I have ever had, and their hot beverages were equally pleasing. The little art gallery tucked next to the Cafe is a lovely way to end a visit as well.
A fairly good buffet. There’s a good variety of food. However the lentils were off and sour. The restaurant was reasonably clean. The staff were inattentive - had to ask many times to get a drink. Probably will not return.
🙂 @Premier Banqueting Hall. We had our small intimate Nikkah here. The venue itself is spacious with stunning decor inside. The outside of the building is designed beautifully and the staff are friendly. A great place for our special day الحمدالله Allahamdhulilah.🤲🏼
Had my baby girl christening here. Was unreal the room was beautiful. Everything on the day was amazing so much food didn’t have to worry about anything. The little touch’s like Josie christening on the door outside was amazing .. & they even let use bring are own entertainment princess and animals in thanks so much
Lovely Venue can't complain about that Food was poor, parking was ample but tight. Catering staff were okay, if not a little moody. Seemed like they were rationing the food cos the tables were full yet not enough food to go around.
Perfect Wedding Day!! My son got married on the 3rd March at Majestic Banqueting Hall, the service was impeccable. Everything from start to finish was brilliant. All family & guests were very happy with the service and they enjoyed the whole event. A big thanks to Khuram and everyone that made the day special! The food was from Pak caterers and it was absolutely delicious and hot!
A great location. A great restaurant. Absolutely beautiful food, but… The service was quite disappointing in the sense that there were tables in the main bar area, however we were taken round the back and secluded away from the experience of Ghillie Dhu. The menu stated a drink was provided with some meals. We selected this but then had to ask for our drinks. The 2 girls serving us quite clearly didn’t have a clue what they were doing. The food took a long time to come. When the food eventually arrived, it was delicious. So a good experience for food, but not so much for the vibe and atmosphere unfortunately. Thank you for the Ghillie Dhu experience. 💫
Lovely, friendly staff. Good menu choices, might be a bit fancy for some tastes. The building itself, designed and built by Charles Rennie Macintosh is wonderful. Fabulous venue for weddings, I've been to two, both excellent. Great gift shop for all things Scottish and more. Beautiful walled garden (maybe stick to summer visits) with seating areas and ever changing floral vistas. I would highly recommend a visit
Gorgeous hidden gem! The castle exceeded our expectations, every room is different, the food is really tasty ( I totally recommend beef wellington ❤️) and an added extra: you can see Highland cows , soo cute.

A gorgeous venue for a wedding Staff are brilliant and there are so many beautiful backdrops for photo opportunities We’ve always been wedding suppliers here with our camper van Photo Booth - but are lucky enough to be guests at our friends wedding here next summer . Looking forward to it :)

We had the absoloute pleasure setting up our feather centrepieces in the Connaught Rooms for a corporate event. The decor really popped as It is an exquisite grand venue, perfect wow factor. Very spacious and excellent facilities. Highly recommend the event venue.

Oh my what a day lucky enough to be invited to a Wedding at the Tudor Barn. The venue is great steeped in History and a great atmosphere, helpful and polite team members. The rain stopped us enjoying the gardens, but we were very cosy and looked after indoors. Fantastic food served by I believe Silver Service server's They were synchronised in serving added to Our enjoyment.
