House for an Art Lover garners a positive reputation from the bulk of customer reviews. Patrons frequently praise its charming architecture designed by Charles Rennie Macintosh, which serves as an enchanting backdrop for various events, particularly weddings. Many reviews mention the excellent quality of food, the area's stunning grounds, and the friendliness of the staff, enhancing the venue's appeal. Notably, the on-site gift shop and the walled garden leave favorable impressions on visitors. Lovely, friendly staff. Good menu choices, might be a bit fancy for some tastes. The building itself, designed and built by Charles Rennie Macintosh is wonderful. Fabulous venue for weddings, I've been to two, both excellent. Great gift shop for all things Scottish and more. Beautiful walled garden (maybe stick to summer visits) with seating areas and ever changing floral vistas. I would highly recommend a visit
