Fantastic for the price. I’ve been coming here for a while and every single time it’s been a positive experience. They have a good selection of small sushi plates, but you can also order from the main menu. Personally, I would highly recommend trying soft shell crab from the main menu and chicken salad with sesame dressing that’s a park of a bundle.

Probably my go to Japanese spot now! Mind you I’ve not been in Manchester for very long. Anyways I had the £14 lunch meal. It is definitely worth a try, specially if you just want to give Japanese food a go. Affordable and tastes really good in my opinion. Loved the conveyor belt experience and the staff were lovely us. The place is abit small but I guess that is an experience in itself. Value for money - 10/10 Ambiance - 7/10 Service - 9/10

Reviews Summary

An analysis of recent customer feedback indicates that WAZUZHI (formerly Wasabi) generally enjoys a positive reputation, driven primarily by the perceived value for money, the variety and quality of the food offerings, as well as the friendly and efficient service. The dining experience is frequently highlighted, particularly due to the Kaiten sushi service, and customers seem satisfied with the pricing structures, both a la carte and combo meals. Thematic instances imply that staff interactions are commendable, as they are consistently described as 'friendly', 'kind', and 'helpful', suggesting a strong customer service ethos within the establishment. Certain logistical drawbacks recur, such as the spatial limitations of the restaurant leading to potential discomfort and a reported busyness that could lead to queues, suggesting capacity constraints during peak times. Despite this, there's a prevailing sense that the inconveniences are outshone by the overall experiential and culinary merits of WAZUZHI.
