The overall sentiment for The Little Door restaurant is strongly positive, with most reviewers praising both atmosphere and food quality. Guests repeatedly mention attentive, friendly staff and a consistently pleasant dining experience. While isolated criticisms do appear, including seating delays, inaccuracies in special requests, and occasional issues with food or noise, they remain the exception rather than the rule.

Key themes include the restaurant's vibrant yet intimate ambiance, unique menu offerings, and high standards of service—frequently attributed to named staff such as Jennifer, Naya, and Brisa. Many reviews emphasize the importance of reservations, note the popularity of both the courtyard and valet service, and describe memorable dishes like rack of lamb, oysters, and a special crudo. Price is occasionally referenced as high, but in the context of value received.

My boyfriend brought me here to celebrate my birthday. I read a lot of reviews while we waited for our reservation because I'm that person, lol I absolutely loved it. From the little door entrance to the lights, everything looked beautifully. The whole staff was great and super nice. The food was amazing, and the drinks were strong but still delicious. I will definitely go back.

I’ve been meaning to try this restaurant for many years now and it definitely doesn’t disappoint. Managed to snag a reservation for Friday evening. If you want to go prime time I recommend booking at least a week in advance. You can put requests in. For example to sit in the courtyard outdoor space which is a must but it’s not a guarantee. They tried to sit us inside but I asked if we could be moved outside and they kindly obliged. Parking isn’t too difficult on the street and it should be free after 8pm. Otherwise, if you’re finding it hard to park somewhere, there is always the option for valet that you can do. The food and drinks are delicious. We got the grilled endive salad which was really unique, I had never had something like that before. We also got their special for the day which was the bone marrow sitting on some nicely toasted bread and salad on the side. For our main my friend got the fillet mignon and I got the rack of lamb. There is surprisingly a lot of meat on the rack of lamb and it will fill you up quite nicely. We also got some dessert and were definitely happily full afterwards. The staff is friendly but it’s the ambience which is why you go. It’s nice and busy but not too noisy where you can’t hear yourself. Expect to spend around $150 pp if you’re getting 3 course which a couple of drinks. I’ll definitely be returning very soon!

Delicious food and good options for a few light snacks or a full on meal. Friendly staff that know how to clear the table and refill waters without being intrusive. Our server was Jennifer and she made great recommendations, timed everything just right as far as the food courses and was friendly, engaging and attentive. The venue itself deserves 5 Stars for looking vibey, spacious, yet intimate and special. There’s a good sized bar to sit at if you’re looking to do a solo or quick experience. There a lovely colors, textures, mirrors, candles and plant life to keep your mood and vibes going the entire time. There’s valet which was $14 when we went. They were super fast. They have a card reader if you don’t have cash. Gratuity is included on parties of 5+ I believe. I’d recommend making a reservation. People were dressed nicely and cute. Nothing super dressy, but people looked stylish. Helped with the vibe. We all had a delightful experience and will be back.
