Chris Stout was recommended to us through a friend of ours who has worked with him on many jobs. Our friend is a glass guy and when he knew we were going to be embarking on this job, he immediately told us to call Chris. We are so happy we did. He came to us and gave us a fair estimate for our job. He did a full gut and renovation on our kitchen, family room, fireplace, main bathroom and basement. We couldn't be happier. Our kitchen although not huge, is fully custom. The color and finish were hand picked by us. The molding work and tile work is impeccable. His crew is friendly, always on time, works clean and very talented. We had full confidence in them from the beginning to the end. We have recommended him to a number of people that used his company and were all equally as pleased with his work. I remember one time after the job was completed, I had an unrelated plumbing issue. I called him up and he was at my house in 30 minutes. He fixed the problem and was on his way. That meant a lot to me. My wife and I have more projects in the pipeline and Chris will be the one who does them for sure. I have attached some of our kitchen pics and fireplace.

We write to sing the praises of Stout Builders & Remodeling…… Our Building, Sunrise Tower, a 92 Unit Condominium, was in desperate need of a Lobby renovation. After several years of planning, we were in a position to move forward with a total demolition of the existing Lobby. Before Chris, Mark, and Fred could begin the renovation, they had to relocate the entire existing lobby to a totally different location with an entrance on a lower floor. A temporary security desk with computer and camera monitors, and a separate secure structure for 92 mailboxes was built. This allowed for the simultaneous closing of the existing lobby and opening of the temporary lobby facility for all residents. Throughout our project, every morning like clockwork, Fred was on site, hands on, coordinating each phase of the day’s work. The operation was efficient and allowed no wasted time. At the end of day, the job site was thoroughly cleaned, secured, and ready for the next day! And we are able to state that not a single complaint was logged over a 3 month period from our residents and staff! When Chris and Mark were not on site, they were always accessible to address any issue or concern. Their degree of professionalism and reliability far surpassed our expectations! Our new look is “state of the art”! We are so thoroughly pleased with the workmanship of the Stout Team…we will soon begin Phase II of our building renovation! Sincerely The Sunrise Tower Board

We started our roof raise in March 2020, the same week NYC was shut down for Covid-19. While the process took an unexpected turn, Stout was innovative and rolled with the punches, doing whatever they could to move forward with our project during these trying times. Most of the time if I noticed something off during the project, they already saw it and were taking care of it before I even had to say something. Anytime I ever had a question or an issue, they answered my texts immediately and the answer was ALWAYS ok, no problem! I truly trust and believe that my house is made with the best materials and craftsmanship, but most importantly they built me a beautiful house that we can call ‘home’. We get so many compliments on how beautiful our home is and couldn’t be happier! Stout homes, THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts! Service: Remodeling
