Hired Stanley Steemer in St Cloud Mn to clean carpet in three small rooms. Smallest was 6x11ft , largest was 10x14ft. Price quoted was $532 which I thought was high but acceptable to get the carpet throughly cleaned. Bill ended up a bit more than $1700 and included chgs I didn’t authorize, but he said I did. I would never spend the $1000 to clean a 6x11 piece of carpet, but that’s what I was billed for this one room. When questioned the technician Taylor started calling me names and threatening me with calling the sheriff and having me arrested. Also tried to negotiate the chgs with the manager who was unreceptive. I felt threatened and completely taken advantage of. Finally just paid the bill which felt like extortion, to break free of them and sever contact. The tech was a bully, who threatened and took advantage of me. Don’t trust this business with your trust or money. There are other service providers who will provide ethical non threatening service.

On Dec. 4 we had an appointment with your company to get our carpet and furniture cleaned. The serviceman showed up and asked for a water source. We have an apartment and dont have that kind of source readily available. So he rescheduled us for the next day with a portable cleaner system adding that it won't do the same job. the next day two workers showed up and asked for a water source. we showed them the showers faucet and they said that would be fine. Basically they sprayed the areas with a fine mist and sucked it up. I could've done that. (By portable I was thinking a little more elbow grease!) After they left we noticed the stains weren't completely gone and some candy under the love seat was still there.We are very disappointed with the process. There's no WOW there as advertised.

Stanley Steemer was advertising this two room $59 special, we hired them for today and they said they would be there between 9 AM to 11 AM. They didn’t show up till after 12 PM then instead of the $59 they said the two rooms would cost $350, when we tried to cancel, they said, there’s a transportation service fee, basically extorting us for money. I spoke with the manager, who was rude, extremely unprofessional, and I just need to warn everybody out there to never use this company, if you do, you’ll find out what I’m talking about!
