"I wanted to commend Ms Ophelia (BANK TELLER) for her exceptional customer service. She patiently answered all my questions, even the most complex ones. She even made a wire transfer for me. Her calm and reassuring demeanor made me feel safe and understood. She is a true asset to your bank. I have never encountered such a high level of professionalism and dedication in any of my previous banking experiences. Very strange, archaic and inflexible system in looking to open a bank account as a foreign passport holder. For what it’s worth, the service staff here are polite and professional. However, i have come in-person to different Llyod’s bank twice only to be told once attended to, that something was missing: first, a proof of address(this was not stated anywhere online or in my emails), and second, that my energy bill was missing one line ( - because of course it has to be completely exact!). Not to mention this has taken two hours of travel time down each time looking to get an account open with no results. Astonishingly outdated and a complete waste of time.

Just out of the branch having waited for 25 minutes in vain. The [very kind] teller was not able to perform the operation i needed and advised me to wait for his colleague who would be there shortly. 25 minutes later, I was still waiting but had to leave. The teller kindly apologised but my time was wasted. I understand staff may sometimes be busy but in that case, best to let customers know than letting them wait in vain...
