This is some text inside of a div block.
Literally had broken down in vehicle and had to pull into their car park in an emergency. On receiving their notice of fine I explained the circumstances, supplied the RAC report saying my vehicle had faults and they ‘carefully considered’ my circumstances and said I should have removed my vehicle within the time and that they would reduce my fine to £20 Absolute stupidity. Clearly Mitigating circumstances beyond my control. This has been appealed of course as I wouldn’t pay a fine to a company who are clearly trying to take advantage of people.

Parked at a hospital to take my mum in for a procedure. Upon leaving I put in my licence plate and it told me that I didn't have to pay anything. So I clicked. Thank you next customer and left. Couple of weeks later I received a fine in the post for not paying upon leaving. I sent them a picture of my receipt to say that I had attempted to pay. They've just got back to me so that it's not mitigated and therefore I still need to pay my fine of £30. As far as I'm concerned, I've done nothing wrong here. I made every attempt to pay at the machine. I'm not downloading an app onto my phone. I will pay in a perfectly acceptable and legal way. I don't know what went wrong but it's not my fault. The machine said I had nothing to pay so I didn't pay anything. Absolute rip off company. Fancy buying a private car park outside a hospital and charging people.. benefiting from people visiting ill relatives or having medical procedures.

Received £100 for 10 min overstay, tried to pay but their system was not working, tried to call but only spoke to a robot with no payment option. Disputed the fine as not possible to make payment due to error on their side - received robotic reply stating I have to pay. This company should not be allowed to trade, shady business practice in full swing!

Reviews Summary

The overall sentiment toward Group Nexus's parking services is strongly negative, with reviewers consistently highlighting dissatisfaction stemming from inflexible fine policies, limited customer service access, and technical issues with payment systems. Customers mention rejected appeals despite providing supporting evidence, robotic or absent responses, and frustration over perceived unfairness in enforcement. Only one review expresses support for their approach to handling violations, but even this is an outlier amongst other critical feedback.

Common feedback includes reports of malfunctioning payment machines, poor signage, difficulties in reaching customer service (either by phone or email), and what customers describe as unreliable appeal processes. Customers express a shared theme of feeling penalized despite legitimate efforts to comply with parking and payment requirements, particularly in challenging circumstances like medical emergencies, machine errors, or reasonable misunderstandings. Locations mentioned involve hospital and retail parking as well as gym facilities, underscoring systemic issues rather than isolated incidents.

Based on customer reviewer feedback throughout the UK, Group Nexus is regarded as a parking management company with a reputation for strict enforcement and unsympathetic processes. The consistent recurrence of complaints about communication barriers and appeals indicates widespread concerns about fairness and support. The company's local and regional standing is undermined by these persistent operational shortfalls.
