Awful service and even worse equipment…we are never using this service again. Too much to type, but I would run away from ADT…Fast!

It’s been nightmarish using ADT. Their system is frequently offline. Every time a tech comes out even if it’s their system failure- you pay out of pocket. Most recently I was locked out of my home because the automated system was offline. I spent 2 hours on the phone with ADT for them to say they can’t do anything. Requested a manager follow up with me, since they would not escalate to a manager in that urgent situation. I was told I would receive a 48 hour follow up. It’s been a week and no one has called. No resolution to the issue to date. Unfortunately, this has been their baseline for customer service. Actively seeking other options. I would not recommend ADT

These folks run a scam. I guess these bottom feeders monitor home sales. I bought a new home and had a knock on my front door the first day. He said he was a relocation manager and acted like he was some sort of service offered by something involved in my purchase. I noticed his id so I shut him down knowing how worthless alarms are based on my career experience. When he realized I was not gullible enough to fall for their burglar alarm scam, he tried to sell me a fire monitor service. I shut him down there to. My nephew fell for their scam. Cost him around $60 a month, a huge early termination fee if cancelled when he sold his house. He didn't know selling would void his contract. He could not get the buyer to continue the service so he fell for their scam where he had to pay a crazy transfer fee for a service transfer to where he moved, where there is already an alarm and he now pays for two services.
