I’ve had two funding agreements through this company and had no issues until recently—both of which were completely out of my control. One payment was declined by my bank (which I resolved immediately), and the most recent issue happened because the wrong account was charged, which I wasn’t aware of until after the fact. Instead of handling the matter with professionalism or offering a simple courtesy notice, I was met with threats of being reported to the credit bureaus and an incredibly aggressive tone. When I brought up my concerns, the response I received was dismissive and disrespectful, essentially blaming me while ignoring the context. While I fully understand and intend to honor the terms of the agreement, my concern is with the way this company communicates with its clients. I’ve been a responsible borrower and handled these rare issues promptly, yet the communication I received was combative, lacking any sense of understanding, and completely unprofessional. When I asked for a copy of their credit reporting policy to better understand their process, they didn’t provide it. Instead, they abruptly told me the issue was “closed.” This lack of transparency is unacceptable—especially when the company chooses to report to credit bureaus, regardless of whether they label their product a loan or not. I would not recommend this company to anyone. The lack of integrity, the disrespectful communication, and the willingness to escalate without meaningful conversation are serious red flags. They would be wise to hire only respectful, qualified individuals to handle customer relations—especially when dealing with sensitive financial matters. Choose a company that values professionalism and treats its clients with basic respect.
