This is some text inside of a div block.
I have been with Experian for over six years, and for the last year and a half, I have been delighted with their customer support. They are understanding, helpful, and consistently update me on specific matters. I appreciated their flexibility on the subscription. I can cancel anytime, which is excellent for managing my outgoing expenses. I enjoy being able to lock my credit to prevent unauthorised access to my credit report. This is helpful because some financial institutions might check my information without a reason. Remember to unlock it when applying for a loan, as you'll be rejected if you're locked, and you may not be able to reapply for another month. Overall, Experian is an excellent platform, and I'm very grateful for my services. I particularly appreciate the feature that shows how specific payments on my credit cards will affect my credit score. It's an excellent tool for understanding my score and exploring boost options! Best, Sarah S

Unable to login _ no contact number provided for help if you can't do this. Wasted more than an hour trying to make contact. Seem very unwilling to make themselves accessible

I’m trying to find out if Experian still offer access to previous credit files, nothing on FAQ, multiple calls to different numbers culminated in a very frustrating call to a lady who was completely uninterested and unhelpful.

Reviews Summary

Overall sentiment towards Experian as a credit reporting service is predominantly negative, with the majority of reviews highlighting significant communication and support issues. While one reviewer offers a detailed and positive appraisal of Experian’s flexibility, credit-locking features, and payment analysis tools, most others note multiple service frustrations, including access issues, lack of helpful response from customer support, and poor technical or account management. Some criticisms also point to unhelpful or inaccessible contact systems and dissatisfaction with how credit scores are calculated.

Repeated themes among dissatisfied customers include difficulty reaching live assistance, slow or absent follow-up, unsatisfactory resolution of disputes, and a perception that the subscription model favors the company during slow problem resolution. There is also concern about inconsistencies in reported scores compared to other platforms and frustration with subscription management or account handling.

Based on the collected feedback, Experian’s reputation in the credit reporting industry appears marred by accessibility and responsiveness concerns, despite some strong features for account control and information management. Service efficiency, particularly regarding problem-solving and customer support, emerges as a substantive area of customer discontent in the region. (Word count: 160)
