This is a lengthy review but I thought it’ll be helpful if I talk about my own experience and hopefully it’ll give people a good sense of how brilliant Denise is. I have been battling anxiety for a very long time ( probably longer than I thought) I really struggled to coping with it and had episodes at work, in my own home or on holiday when I’m supposed to be relaxing. Completely out of control. I had a lot of physical symptoms ( struggling to breathe, tingly hands… ) and it was deeply affecting my everyday life. I went online at first, did all the coaching, spoke to mental health at GP, at work, self referral to local services…I’ve spoken to councillors and it just wasn’t the right therapy for me. Non of them worked ! I’ve started researching on CBT coaching and thought I’d try that see if it works . I reached out to Denise and had our first meeting in February 2023. I thought she was very professional, understanding, easy to talk to. She pin point out issues, offered a couple of solutions and I felt informed and confident after my first session. I then had weekly/by weekly session and every single session was a step up for me! She coached me on dealing with fear, helped me to understand why my brain behave certain way, which really really helped me implement those techniques to stop anxiety. She has recommended books for me read to help me understand why my body behave certain way when my brain has complete moved on…. Of course, battling mental health issue is a very long journey, but with the techniques she’s given me, confidence she helped me built, I can honestly say I’m not afraid, I know I’ll be fine! There are times when I just go back to being anxious for no reason. I can quickly recover after 1 day rather than struggling for weeks. And finally, I am ever so grateful that I have found her. Thank you Denise !

My experience at Dr. Freeman's clinic has been instrumental in boosting my self-confidence. She is a great listener and she truly values your thoughts and opinions. She also provides great advice on how to let go of self-destructive habits and start building newer/healthier ones. I absolutely recommend therapy for everyone, it's not easy to speak freely to your peers sometimes especially if their life circumstances are so different from your own.

Denise is the first therapist I ever spoke to, and I wasn't sure how it would all go before I contacted her, but she immediately dispelled any reservations I would have had. From the first minute she made me feel comfortable and able to open up, and she does it in such an intuitive and gentle way that I wasn't even immediately aware of the progress I was making until I saw it in action. She repeatedly banished the fable that there was no solution to something, and through our conversations not only have I learned that there are always multiple ways of understanding a situation, but at every step of the way it's also taught me something vital about myself. I would really recommend her to anyone who is struggling to cope or make sense of themselves or the things happening around them - she is kind, compassionate, understanding, patient, really fully immerses herself into your situation and, above all, makes you want to open up to her. Thank you very much Denise.
