Terrible experience. Went with my now wife to choose her ring together. She found the one she liked and we paid the deposit and were told it would be ready, the following week. We went back to collect the ring and when we looked at the ring, it was was terribly scratched like someone had sand papered it! Complained and said it needed to be sorted, they said to come back in an hour. Went back, platinum of the ring was still visibly scratched and the diamond solitaire was now wonky! Complained again and we were told there was nothing wrong with it! Took photos and you could even see deep scratches on an iPhone photo! Showed them the iPhone photos and asked would you be happy to buy this ring for your fiancée. One of the salesmen went bright red. Asked for a new band for the diamond. Was told they wouldn’t be ‘able’ to do that. Asked why and was told this was the only available platinum band of that size available which was nonsense. Asked for a full refund of the deposit as they couldn’t sell what was promised and was told they wouldn't refund. Fiancée at this point, got upset and this wasn’t how I wanted her engagement ring experience to be. Threatened to send the photos and complaint to trading standards and tear them apart on social media. Got my refund. Went to Marlow’s up the road, explained the situation, they were so lovely and sympathetic. Ring band and diamond chosen, they made it up within an hour and we were happy and paid. Got both our wedding rings at Marlow’s too. As for Diamond Heaven? Diamond Hell!
