Fantastic company if you’re looking for a no fly holiday, this is definitely the company to use. From their brilliant concierge service at the planning and booking stage, where we always spoke with the same person (Hanish) to the WhatsApp support whilst away, was second to none. We felt really listened to when planning with no pressure or ‘hard sell’ from Hanish, who was contactable with via phone or email and answered all of our questions in good time. They sort everything from tickets, timings and ensuring all accommodations are within easy reach of public transport links. The holiday, traveling by train to Switzerland then Italy was beautiful, with our time in Switzerland being the highlight of the trip. The people there were so friendly and welcoming and the country was beautiful! We felt at times that Italy, staying in Varenna on Lake Como, were not always so welcoming of tourists and this might be something to bear in mind for any future travels. Overall an amazing trip provided by a brilliant travel company!

Our 20th Anniversary trip to Switzerland (from North Carolina) could not have been more fun! We customized our 17-day Byway journey intentionally for a relaxing holiday mixed with some adventures and a visit with a Swiss friend, no particular agenda, just a “play as you go” attitude. Seven towns, including one in Italy, impeccable train travel, perfect accommodations, all easy, worry-free, it all unfolded flawlessly. Many thanks to the super-attentive and capable Byway team that organized this perfect vacation!

Excellent service - really helpful and enabled us to tailor our holiday to fit our interests. Easy travel, great hotels and good support if we'd needed it. Would definitely use Byway again
