We’ve booked multiple holidays with BaT to the Maldives over the last 20years, they used to be great but this last experience has been shocking; now they’ve got our money they just aren’t interested in helping out. We won’t be using them again. Very disappointing. In response to BaT reply:- The upgrade we received from the island was organised by myself and not BaT because we have stayed on the island previously and we negotiated it directly with the island prior to booking. For our Maldives holiday one restaurant is closed and one restaurant is now charging 50% of cost even though we are all inclusive and last year it was included - we could only find this out AFTER BOOKING. For the Dubai part of the holiday, the hotel has closed FOUR restaurants, it has also closed the large aquarium. These items have all been raised with BaT and they haven’t come back to me to resolve instead they’ve spent time responding on here rather than working to resolve the issues; hence my negative feedback; the comment received from them below reflects the poor service because they haven’t actually mentioned ALL OF THE CLOSURES, they are inferring there’s only one issue when there are multiple. Potential customers need to make their own mind up if this level of service is acceptable when spending considerable levels of money; we will never book with them again.

I booked with the company religiously. But they neglected to tell me my hotel was double booked ( their fault - they winged it hoping I would be ok ….. as they knew this info before I travelled 24 hours to my dream destination) they then refunded me 30%. I returned : days later stressed and thousands of pounds poorer . There good when it’s going swimmingly but ….zero accountability. Poor

We booked Thailand through Peter at .Best at Travel', again! Brilliant service as usual. We are currently re-booking. Highly recommended, with good local experience and a deep understanding of what you want out of your holiday.
