They asked me several questions like I was boarding a flight and then some gruff guy mumbled some information. Nice. I walked away with nothing.

One of the best housing development. Tell the mayor or the governor to visit this area of Brooklyn.

Reviews Summary

Overall, reviews of this NYCHA housing development in Brooklyn reflect a mixed sentiment. Several reviewers highlight positive aspects such as the smaller building footprints, the lack of rodent infestations, and the area not spanning multiple blocks. Comments also mention the community as being one of the better developments, with no pest issues reported. Still, there are clear expressions of dissatisfaction, including frustration about unclear or unhelpful staff communication and unmet housing needs.

Key themes include low-rise, manageable building size and the absence of rats, which are viewed as advantages compared to other NYCHA properties. Praise is specifically given for the development’s quality relative to alternatives, while criticisms involve unhelpful interactions with staff, lack of clear information, and at least one brief but strongly negative impression. Some comments are neutral or simply state personal circumstances, such as a need for new housing, without offering service evaluation.

In summary, NYCHA’s Brooklyn housing development is seen as better maintained and more manageable than other options, particularly regarding pest control and building scale. The opinions on staff and service are divided, with some users reporting negative or unhelpful experiences. Within Brooklyn, the development stands out for its practical attributes but faces some service delivery concerns.
