As a first time ADT customer I’m very disappointed. (More disappointed of the company not the location). Please hire “tech specialists” that are qualified in tech.. I ended up figuring out how to activate my cameras myself because their team was SO USELESS. Also wasn’t made aware of any service fees. When scheduling a tech to come to my property I was told I would be charged only $25 but ended up getting that fee waived. When the tech arrived he said the fee for them to come out was $50 (which was waived) and an extra $160 for them to activate my cameras (which I was not informed of until the tech explained it to me) I had to send him on his way because I was obviously not prepared to pay such amount… do better.

If i could give adt 0 stars i would, the only thing thats been good about the adt experience is the local techs they have at least been decent. We relocated after a year of our first system we were assure that we would not be billed as long as we relocated they took $3500 out of our bank account which was part of the money we had saved up for the closing cost on our home it took them over a month to refund us after we started a new contract. We were supposed to be under a 36 month contract on our new house we ended up under a 5 year contract thats minimal fast forward to year 3 on our contract on our new place the bill has been on auto pay and my credit card expired. They waited 4 months to send me a text my bill was past due, so i had to hop on the account where i notice they are still charging me for our previous house. My husband and i spent hours on the phone with them and they state it cant be rectified because they cant waive the cost of equipment even though we were told by numerous people both local and via the call center there would be no additional charges as long as we set up new service fast forward another month and they call me back and state oh there is a problem with your account and your owed back upwards of $1200 bucks no follow up after 2 weeks we call back oh were so sorry were still looking into it but there is def a problem and we apologize, wait another week call again your claim has been closed we cant waive equipment fees on the old house. Dear lord, and let me not even start with the billing, when the card expired i refused to put them back on auto pay i call in through the automated system to pay now. I payed my bill last month both the online account and the automated call system said i owed xyz amount and then it automatically updates and I'm now missing $10 of my payment where did the $10 come from you ask well they cant tell me it was just there and owed. This is the second month in a row this has happened so from now on i will be taking screen shots of the billing monthly. I cant wait to cancel. The only thing thats been pleasurable about this experience is the local techs when they have had to come out and do repairs because when you have to get a new router i promise you 1 camera on your system wont want to connect and they will have to come out and do it. Our door bell camera was the issue and replaced 2 times in one day because the first replacement was the same issue. The rest of the system has worked as it should fortunately.

In California I had ADT They informed me I had a two year contract. Moving to SC I got a new service there. They did not inform me it would be a five year contract. Also by the time you get the equipment there was another just under 1,000.00 I wanted to get out of contract after two years. . Customer service said there was nothing they could do. My neighbor has Safeguard. No equipment fee. 22.00 a month. ADT is way more expensive and a scam.
