Though it is too early to see the results of the hair transplant, I am going on what I can review, which is the team that helped me in deciding (Logan), the surgeons on the day in Manchester and the aftercare up to this point 3 weeks later (again Logan with Becky too) and I am very satisfied in all aspects. The hair procedure itself was unmitigated torture, but it is removing thousands of hair one at a time and then placing them back into my head again one at a time. So a little leeway should be given for this. But I felt comfortable and safe, and the aftercare, though it is absolutely gruelling for 2 weeks, I was in daily contact with Logan and Becky who checked with daily pictures, answered my endless questions and offered great support. If you feel like you need to put yourself through this, then I would certainly recommend this team

I thought about getting a hair transplant for some time but always had it in my head that I was going to travel to Turkey for the procedure. This was due to what I believing that it would cost double or triple in the UK as opposed to turkey. After doing a bit of research and finding Want Hair, I asked for more information and was blown away with how little the difference was. I decided very quickly then to book a date for my procedure in Manchester and the team where in constant contact with me throughout the build up to the surgery answering every question along with clear and simple instructions. On the day of the procedure again everything was really simple and relaxed. I felt really reassured by the team and the Dr of what was going to happen step by step. So the actual procedure was completely pain free didn't feel a thing and the team continued to ask me if everything was ok or if I needed more anesthetic "which I didn't". The only part of the day I felt pain was the initial numbing of the donor and implant areas. This was a number of numbing injections that lasted all of a minute and a 7/10 pain wise. After the procedure I stayed in a hotel and flew home two days later. Again with very little pain more discomfort than anything. The team where in daily contact with me getting updates and pictures of how things where healing etc. at no point did I feel I was in this alone or once I was out the door I was forgotten about. I am now on day 14 and my head has completely healed and the team have told me that they will check in on me in 6 months time. So now it's time to sit back and wait for the results 🧑‍🦲⌛
