STAY AWAY FROM AT ALL COST!!!! I had an extremely negative experience with Exroid LTD and I strongly advise everyone to stay away from this company. Before booking, I called and explained my health situation in detail, asking very clearly whether they could provide the treatment I needed. Over the phone, they assured me they could. Based on that assurance, I made the payment and travelled the next day. When I arrived, the doctor immediately told me they do not treat such cases. My time, money, and journey were completely wasted. Afterwards, I contacted them to request a refund. At first, they tried to refuse paying the full amount. Eventually, they returned part of my money but unfairly deducted a “consultation fee.” This is unacceptable, as I had already explained everything in advance and was explicitly told they could help. The whole process was unprofessional from start to finish. The person on the phone was pushy and sales-driven, and it became clear their main aim is simply to take money, not to provide proper care. I will be pursuing a county court claim to recover the money they deducted. In the meantime, I strongly warn others: avoid this company at all costs. They are misleading, unprofessional, and unethical.

Used Exroid on a friend’s recommendation — unfortunately, it didn’t work for me. The procedure was extremely uncomfortable, more so than any of the three colonoscopies I’ve had. No sedative is offered, as the clinic isn’t set up to provide aftercare. It’s a quick in-and-out process with minimal patient support. The Canterbury clinic is just a room inside a beauty salon. I was left waiting in a stairwell next to a loud radio, with nowhere comfortable to sit and nothing offered. Eventually, I was taken through to meet the doctor and a chaperone. The doctor explained that multiple treatments are often needed — something you only discover in the disclaimer, not clearly stated on the website. One patient, I was told, needed 12 sessions(!) The procedure took about an hour and was painful throughout. I said to my wife afterwards I’d rather have a root canal. I received a very basic follow-up summary with a crude sketch of the haemorrhoids — it looked like something from a child's schoolbook. Within days, the symptoms returned exactly as before: pain, bleeding, no improvement. The treatment cost over £1,000 and made no difference. I’ve had no follow-up from the clinic, and wouldn’t return for a second procedure. In my experience, it’s too expensive, too uncomfortable, and offers no guarantee of success. I’ll now be pursuing a surgical option through the NHS. I don’t recommend Exroid.

This is not a review I wanted to write, but I feel compelled to share my experience with Exroid to help others make an informed decision. Exroid is very efficient when it comes to initial contact—they are quick to answer the phone, arrange appointments, and even assist with financing. Unfortunately, that’s where my positive experience ends. The Procedure: While the company advertises the procedure as painless, I found it to be quite the opposite. It was downright uncomfortable and left me feeling vulnerable throughout. This was not the experience I was led to expect based on their claims. Additional Concerns: • Convenient Upselling: During my appointment, I was told I had a skin tag that also required treatment. This felt more like a sales pitch than genuine medical advice. • Follow-Up Spam: Since my appointment, I’ve been bombarded with communications urging me to book a session for skin tag removal, that’s another £1195 • Costly and Incomplete Results: They mention upfront that multiple procedures might be needed, but this raises questions about the overall effectiveness and cost of their service. I can’t justify trusting them to do this again. Recommendation: In hindsight, I wish I had waited and explored other options, such as ligation or sclerotherapy, which might have been more effective and less uncomfortable. Exroid’s focus on efficiency in booking and financing is commendable, but it falls short on delivering a satisfactory treatment experience. If you’re considering this service, proceed with caution and thoroughly research all your options first.

Reviews Summary

Overall, customer sentiment regarding Exroid’s private clinic treatment for haemorrhoids is mixed and tends toward negative. Reviewers frequently highlight issues such as lack of transparency about the number of necessary treatments, discomfort during procedures, inadequate aftercare, and challenges with refunds or customer service. However, there are also some patients who report symptom relief and appreciation for their specific doctors. Criticisms typically involve poor follow-up, pushy sales tactics, and unprofessional encounters that undermine trust in the clinic’s medical care.

Common feedback includes inconsistent communication, insufficient post-treatment support, and dissatisfaction with the clinical environment at certain locations. Some patients mention misleading initial information regarding pain levels and required procedures, while others feel pressured to purchase additional services. On the positive side, a few reviewers appreciate the efficiency in booking and the expertise of particular practitioners, referring to international travel for repeat treatments and lasting relief as evidence of some successful outcomes.

In summary, Exroid’s reputation is marked by significant variability in patient outcomes. While some customers—especially those treated by named doctors—report substantial improvements, a greater number express concerns about cost, efficacy, and professionalism. In the UK, especially in London, Exroid is viewed as a private medical provider with inconsistent service standards and a need for greater transparency and patient care.
