Many were past prosecutors who still maintain excellent relationships with colleagues/prosecutors/lawyers and know what to look for/highlight from their past experiences, on the other side. The decision to choose them (after meeting with many other firms) was obvious and one of the most important decisions of my life as I used them to defend me on a 35yrs to life sentence for a crime that I did not commit. They were supportive, creative, kept me optimistic, and had great suggestions and strategies on how to prove my innocence.
