This is some text inside of a div block.
Just paid my fine for wheels just outside the markings of the bay/space. Paid within 14 day so got a reduced charge amount. Not quibbling the fine, but paid on line and was charged an additional £1.50 admin charge. Nowhere on the parking charge is this additional charge mentioned. Surely this illegal. If anyone can confirm one way or the other, I would be grateful. The parking charge summary only shows £40 with discount applied if paid within 14 days, nothing else.

Absolutely appalling treatment by this company, just scumbags. My 85-year-old father, a registered blue badge holder, parked in the appropriate disabled bay at a hospital he’s visited over 20 times without issue. Unbeknownst to him, the hospital had changed its procedure regarding blue badge display, and he received a penalty notice despite acting in good faith. After submitting proof of his badge and explaining the situation, the company responded with a “reduced” £20 fine along with a warning that appealing further could result in the full amount being reinstated. This kind of response feels predatory, lacking empathy, and shows zero regard for elderly or disabled individuals. Shameful approach to enforcement.

Horrendous and predatory enforcement of parking regulations. I was issued several fines for parking at my own place of work with a permit they didn't accept even though the ownership of the land had just transitioned. Did not communicate their new ownership to all residents on the premises, instead issued fines in parking bays they had no legal right to! It's been several months and a handful of users are still in the process of appealing, they take nearly a month to respond with no direct access to speak to someone through the phone! Even when you send through evidence, it's missed! I do hope they find a more sustainable way to make profit, as targeting the general public for going about their day to day lives will not do any good!

Reviews Summary

The overall sentiment toward UK Parking Control is overwhelmingly negative based on the reviews provided. Reviewers consistently note issues with transparency, communication, and lack of empathy in UK Parking Control’s management of parking fines and appeals. Customers across several locations mention experiences with vague fees, delayed correspondence, and a punitive approach to enforcement. There is a notable pattern of frustration from those interacting with the UK Parking Control service, especially in scenarios involving vulnerable individuals such as the elderly and disabled.

Common feedback includes slow or no responses to appeals, little to no ability to reach customer service directly, and a lack of flexibility or discretion in fining decisions. Several users highlight how evidence was either ignored or not reviewed, and that the escalation of fines occurs rapidly, sometimes with little warning. Locations mentioned include hospital car parks and gym car parks, and there is repeated reference to communication failures that leave customers feeling unsupported and powerless.

Overall, UK Parking Control has developed a reputation for inflexible enforcement and inadequate customer support, particularly in London and surrounding areas. The reviews suggest little evidence of issue resolution or customer-focused processes, resulting in a poor perception among local users. For those in need of fair and transparent parking management, caution is advised based on these authentic user accounts.
