There was no clear direction, no personalised support, and certainly no tailored strategy for business growth. As the end of my 12-month contract approached, the only renewed contact was another bombardment of marketing messages, pushing me to attend more seminars designed solely to upsell overpriced and generic courses. It felt like a constant cycle of seminars, sales pitches, and pressure to spend more, rather than any genuine focus on helping you grow your business. Whether you’re an electrician or not, they’ll try to push you into irrelevant training – such as solar panel installation courses – just to make another sale. The sales team even sit you down in the back office, going through your finances to see what they can extract. It’s all about revenue for them, not your results. Let’s be clear: Trade Mastermind are not business coaches – they’re salespeople. While I did meet a couple of genuine staff, the overall operation seems geared towards making money off tradespeople, rather than helping them achieve real growth. If you’re genuinely looking to scale your trades business, I’d recommend something like Grant Cardone’s 10X Programme, where you’re assigned a real coach, receive consistent support, and get actual value from your investment.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I recently attended the intro day and, to be honest, went in with low expectations — but I was pleasantly surprised. Joseph Valentine delivered the presentation himself, and the clarity and structure of the process really stood out. They’ve clearly developed a thoughtful approach for a difficult segment of the construction industry: the small-time trader looking to scale. The team came across as genuine and genuinely willing to help. The content was motivating and well-delivered. While I’ve decided it’s not quite the right fit for me — mainly because I prefer a more one-to-one approach — I do think this is a great opportunity for the right person. Definitely worth attending the intro to see if it aligns with your goals.
