I made the decision to begin my cyber security journey with Robust IT, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. From start to finish, the support I received was exceptional. Whether it was through text, email, or a phone call to check in, the team was always there to help. Unlike some other providers I’ve read about, Robust IT didn’t just take the money and disappear. Every single person I dealt with was incredibly helpful, and no issue was ever too much trouble for them to resolve. I enrolled in the CEH package, and I found the combination of online portal lessons and face-to-face sessions to be exactly as advertised – if not better. The resources provided were more than sufficient to help me pass all the exams. That said, I think it’s important to highlight that the success of the lessons depends on the effort you put in. If you study hard, stay committed, and put in the work, you will pass. I’ve seen some reviews from people who seem to think watching a few videos will make them experts, but that’s simply not realistic. The lessons, where applicable, also include practical elements, which I found to be more than adequate. However, as expected, the majority of the content is theory-based. Practical experience will naturally come once you’re working in the field. While there are too many people to thank individually, I want to give special recognition to Sharon, Sean, and Jeremy. Sharon was incredibly supportive in helping me navigate the complexities of being an ELCAS student. Sean was endlessly patient with my constant emails and texts asking for guidance, and Jeremy’s 1-2-1 sessions and classroom based CEH lessons, were instrumental in helping me achieve a high pass mark on the CEH exam. They all went above and beyond, and I’m truly grateful for their support. The only downside I experienced was with the online exam proctoring service. Unfortunately, I encountered several issues, such as being unable to check in, being cut off mid-exam, or having the exam fail to display properly on the screen. The customer service from the proctoring company was appalling. However, to Robust IT’s credit, they stepped in and did their best to assist me, even though the issues weren’t their responsibility to fix. Overall, I’ve already recommended Robust IT to my colleagues, and I’ll continue to use them as my course provider as I explore further qualifications. They provide high-quality content and the certifications you need to break into the industry. They set you up for success – the rest is up to you. Thank you, Robust IT, for an excellent experience!

Discriminatory, Misleading, and Unprofessional – Neurodivergent Learners Beware!! I foolishly paid £900 to date, for Robust IT’s cybersecurity training expecting structure, support, and quality. Instead, I received: • Pirated PDF textbooks hosted via unsecured Google Drive • Free YouTube videos presented as course content • AI-narrated PowerPoints that were sensory-inaccessible • No structured support, despite repeated neurodivergent disclosure As a diagnosed neurodivergent learner (ADHD, AuDHD traits), I made multiple formal requests for support under the Equality Act 2010. Instead, I was told my needs were “too complicated,” and the promised support plan was quietly dropped. Their “Compliance Manager” Malcolm ignored formal complaint deadlines and closed support tickets without resolution. I had to create my own learning system just to pass the SC-900 exam — which I paid for separately and passed entirely independently. Other major issues: • Nearly 100 student emails exposed via Google Drive (serious GDPR breach) • Falsely advertise “Microsoft Gold Partner” status (retired in 2022) • Aggressive language used around chargebacks despite failure to deliver promised service This provider failed in its duty of care, accessibility obligations, and basic service delivery. I am now pursuing complaints with: • Trading Standards • Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) • Equality Advisory & Support Service (EASS) • Microsoft Partner Compliance team If you are neurodivergent or value ethical, professional training — avoid Robust IT!! EDIT (3rd June 2025) I’m adding this update in response to Robust IT’s reply: • They are misrepresenting my situation. I disclosed my ADHD and suspected autism very early (December 2024, a month after enrolling), not “four months in” as they claim. The time I disclosed doesn’t matter legally — once aware, they had a duty under the Equality Act 2010. They promised a support plan, then withdrew it, calling my needs “too complicated.” They never followed through. • I sent them a detailed formal complaint in April 2025, including evidence of discrimination, data breaches, and misrepresentation. They never responded to this complaint — only to my legal Letter Before Action in May. • The SC-900 exam was passed solely through my own self-study and resources I paid for myself, not their materials. Their own mock tests said I wasn’t ready, so I studied alone to pass. Their content was so inaccessible it caused sensory overload. Free online materials were/are far better. • The partial refund offer was just them offering back my own money to silence me, not a fair or genuine resolution. They later offered a full refund but only if I deleted my honest reviews and personal ND posts — that’s manipulative. • Their comments about the Google Drive “informal sharing” downplay a serious GDPR breach exposing nearly 100 student emails without consent. I have the evidence. • I’m aware of other ND learners also struggling with inaccessible materials and broken promises of support — it’s a wider pattern. • Their “unmet promises” question? They failed on their own sales claims: “tailored support,” “structured pathways,” “Microsoft Gold Partner” (which they admit expired), and “quality materials.” They forced me to do everything on my own while ignoring my accessibility needs. I didn’t want to write reviews or share my experience. But their refusal to help, then attempts to silence me, forced me to do so. This has consumed time, energy, and halted my career change goals in cybersecurity. My intention is to warn other neurodivergent learners and hold them accountable. I stand by my experience and my right to share it.
