I’ve been a regular at Third Space Islington for some time, and one of the standout qualities of the club is the professionalism and warmth of the team. The concierge staff are consistently welcoming, with one team member in particular, Rita, going out of her way to make members feel valued. It sets a genuinely positive tone at both arrival and departure. The trainers and management are equally approachable and foster an inclusive, supportive environment both on the gym floor and in classes. The cleaning staff also deserve huge credit. The facilities are maintained to a high standard, and their consistent, behind-the-scenes efforts don’t go unnoticed. They, too, are warm and friendly, contributing to a sense of community that really makes the club feel like a “third space.” The General Manager, John, is visible, engaged, and open to feedback, which gives members confidence that their input is being taken seriously. This is particularly important as the club undergoes a period of transformation. The refurbishment is both welcome and necessary to ensure that the facilities reflect the premium nature of the brand. In addition, the expanding class timetable and quality of instruction remain key strengths. I’m looking forward to seeing how the upcoming changes further enhance the training environment.

Despite the overwhelming positive reviews for this place it did not do it for me. My negative experience was compounded by a pilfering attitude from the administration. The gym staff themselves were all reasonably nice. I joined excited to utilise the facilities but found that they have oversold memberships quite extensively. It was extremely difficult to find space to use the facilities during busier periods (which extend either side of traditional gym peak hours a lot). After 2 sessions within the first week of the month I decided to cancel my membership because it didn't suit my needs. I spoke to the team who took almost 2 weeks to get back to me. They informed me that, despite wanting to cancel within the first week of my membership I would be forced to pay the second month's fees as well (260 pounds). They pursued this aggressively and I have eventually relented. I think that cemented the feeling that the gym is run exclusively for profit over the experience of members. For a gym this expensive one would expect to be able to easily use the facilities. Would not recommend joining if you plan to use the calisthenics/free weights area - the place is rammed and oversold and they will hunt you down for multiple months of membership even if you cancel in the first week.

The best gym in Islington! Third Space Islington is hands down the best gym I’ve ever been to. The facilities are spotless and modern, always super clean and well-maintained. The variety of classes is incredible – there’s something for every fitness level, and you can easily book everything through the app. The staff are so welcoming and professional, and the instructors are not only knowledgeable but genuinely helpful and motivating. It’s more than just a gym – it’s a full wellness experience. Highly recommend! Emilija b
