Reviews Summary

Customer sentiment regarding The Cookware Company, which produces GreenPan and other cookware brands, is mixed with a notable bias toward dissatisfaction. Reviewers repeatedly raise concerns about chipping, rust, breaking handles, and denied warranty claims, even when proper care is taken. While a few highlight positive product features or exceptional resolution of complaints in isolated cases, several customers mention poor support and scripted communication in warranty disputes.

Common feedback reflects frustrations with product durability and quality control. Warranty service and customer care emerge as recurring pain points, with multiple instances of denied claims, slow or absent follow-up, and unresolved issues. However, some customers cite specific cookware benefits such as heat retention, cool handles, and nonstick performance when used correctly, pointing to positive aspects for certain users.

Overall, The Cookware Company is perceived as unreliable in its post-purchase support and product longevity, particularly in the United States. Trust signals are undermined by negative warranty experiences, but pockets of satisfaction exist where product performance meets expectations or unique customer service actions resolve isolated problems.

Greenpan's warranty service denied my claim as they said that the chips and rust on the skillet are from normal wear and tear. I do not use any metal with my skillet and I use felt mats when stacking them. I have no idea how this damage occured but am very disappointed if this is how it looks after just two months of use.

I bought one of their pan (GreenChef) 2 years ago and the pan just dropped from the handle, which was really scary since we were cooking and moving the pan! Hopefully no one hurt and no damage in our house. We used their pan in standard condition all the time, no reason for it to break... Please see the attached photo, you can see the metal just broke from the inside (we only had 1 eggplant inside... so not heavy at all!). We contacted their support to get information about quality and also to find out what they suggest since it's a product quality issue (not a problem of use). They were non-professional and told us to go to the supermarket (whereas warranty was expired). I was not expecting such a low-consideration whereas the pan costs 30+ euros and that our first intent at start was to buy quality (costly if needed) to not change pans every 2 years... haha it seems we failed. We now avoid GreenChef & "The Cookware Company" :/
