I took courses for 4 months for WGU credits. Funny thing was WGU programs were updated without notice and Study.com didn't update their courses accordingly. So I took 13 courses from Study.com, WGU only accepted 8 courses, meaning I wasted 2 month membership fee and extra final exam fee which was almost $819.50. So pissed off both, Study.com and WGU.

DO NOT SUBSCRIBE! Terrible study resource and my daughter said it was not helpful at all! Be careful giving your credit card or financial account. After I cancelled my subscription, they continue to charge me for several months and would not refund the full amount. The representative made a decision that she will only approve few months of what the company owe me back. This is robbery. They stopped replying back to me when I demanded full amount that they charge me after I cancelled. I got another month I was able to cancel from my bank when I disputed it. I am planning to report this to Bureau of Consumer Protection to stop their unfair, deceptive and fraudulent business practices.

Would not recommend taking any courses through their company. The content is outdated. They use AI detectors which makes trying to submit essays or other writing tasks an absolute nightmare. You have to word your assignments a specific way or else you'll be accused of cheating and subsequently given a zero. Whoever is doing the grading for this company is obviously disregarding the AI detector developer's warning not to use the software to punish students as it can throw false positives. This is the same kind of AI detection software which said the bible was AI generated content. Thankfully I had no problems getting a refund like other reviewers. Stay away from them.
