These guys are the real deal. The whole experience was positive - from the sales person, to the installers, and even the support staff keeping me updated every step of the way. The sales guy, Andrew Barry, is a genius. I consulted other solar companies in my area and they tried to push more panels than I needed. Andrew seemed honest and gave me the best deal possible. The quality of the work was professional and the customer service is attentive. The company worked with me to address every little concerned I had. I am very glad I went with Smart Green Solar. I would highy recommend this company. Edit: After installing my roof 3 years ago, I've tried countless times to reach this company to service my system and there's no way to reach them. I have made a big mistake with this company.

I regret choosing Smart Green for our solar installation. From the very beginning, the experience was a nightmare. The entire process dragged on for six months, with little to no communication about what was happening. Random workers would show up at our house unannounced, which was both frustrating and unprofessional. The sales rep assured us that our system would offset 100% of our electricity usage, but in reality, it only covers about 60%. When we reached out about this issue, we were told there would be an annual review to ensure we were getting what we paid for. However, that turned out to be another empty promise. The company is nearly impossible to reach—only responding to emails with vague, generic answers that don’t address our concerns. If you’re considering going solar, I highly recommend looking elsewhere. Smart Green overpromises, underdelivers, and then avoids accountability. Save yourself the headache and choose a company that values its customers.

Do Not Trust This Company – Misleading Practices and Zero Support After Installation If you're considering going solar, please read this before signing anything with this company. My experience has been incredibly frustrating. It all started with a smooth-talking representative named Zach Johnson, who no longer even works for the company — which says a lot. After the initial sales pitch, communication completely stopped once the project was complete. You can try calling, but no one ever answers, and there’s no working line to get proper support. It’s as if they disappear the moment your installation is done. One of the biggest red flags: they intentionally undersize your system just to show you a price you’re comfortable with during the sales process. Yes, I understand no one forces you to sign — but this is a warning to anyone considering them: do your research and triple-check the system size and proposal before moving forward. They also made me trim trees at my own expense, which delayed everything, and now I can't even get a response from anyone at the company. It’s clear they only care about making the sale — after that, you're on your own. Please don't let the positive reviews fool you. I wish I had dug deeper before signing. This is a long-term investment, and you deserve a company that supports you every step of the way — not one that ghosts you the moment the work is finished.
